Climbing Provision

Find a local rock climbing club (i.e. Avon, Bristol, Bath, and Cheddar) and answer the following questions: Avon Mountaineering club What is the club called? Avon Mountaineering Club Where and how often does the club meet? Existing members meet every first Tuesday of the month at 8 pm How do you join? If you'd like to join, and be put onto the mailing list, please get in touch with the membership secretary on the Committee Page , or just come along to the pub on the 1st Tue of each month! Are beginners welcome? Beginners are welcome and willing to teach as most are already taught Describe some of the areas where the club climbs? Avon Gorge, Wye Valley, Local area, Undercover Rock, The Lakes, The Peak District, Scotland, Lundy Island and even Fontainebleau. Find a local climbing wall / centre (Bristol, Swindon, and Gloucestershire) and answer the following: Undercover Rock What is the wall/centre called? Bristol Climbing Centre Where is it? St Werburghs Park Road and Lymouth Road Write a paragraph describing the wall / centre Built within the fifteenth century Church of St.Werburghs, the Bristol Climbing Centre is one the most comprehensive indoor climbing facilities in the country. Awarded 'Regional Centre of Excellence' status by the Sports Council, the centre's facilities offer something for everyone from the complete beginner through to top level competition climbers.
