He allowed vanity and greed to incite rebellion against God. He wanted to knock God off His throne. But he failed, and still has his throne on the earth. Lucifer, "the bringer of light", became the purveyor of darkness. The Apostle Paul explains that many are blinded to the true gospel and the truth of the Bible. "But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them" (2 Corinthians 4:3-4). Notice that after Lucifer was cast down and became Satan, he became "the god of this age" or, in the King James translation, "the god of this world." God did not create the devil, but He did create all the angelic beings. He created three cherubs or archangels-Lucifer, Michael and Gabriel (the cherub Michael is called an archangel in Jude 9) and each apparently led one-third of the angels. We read that the dragon, Satan, was cast back to earth with one-third of the angels. "And another sign appeared in heaven: behold, a great, fiery red dragon having seven heads and ten horns, and seven diadems on his heads. His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and

A second Adam, Jesus Christ had to resist the devil and conquer him. Scripture tells us that after 40 days of fasting, Jesus physically enervated, but still battled the devil with script Refusing to obey Satan, Jesus finally gave him an order, saying "Away with you, Satan! For it is written, 'You shall worship LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve"' (Matthew 4:10) Jesus proved that He would not give in to the devil. Could he be deceiving you? AN ANGEL OF LIGHT One of Satan's greatest deceptions is the false belief that he does not exist. Still, many participate in occult religions that openly worship Satan, his demons or some manifestation of evil. Some witches and sorcerers practice deadly rituals-even to the extent of human sacrifice. But God warned ancient Israel to reject all these forms of paganism and Satanism. "When you come into the land which the LORD your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who makes his son or his daughter pass through the fire, or one who practices witchcraft, or a soothsayer, or one who interprets omens, or a sorcerer, or one who

WARNING FROM THE WORD God warns us to reject occult practices and paganism. Yet these practices are increasingly common, and even accepted in society. An estimated 50,000 in America alone practice "Wicca" -a form of polytheistic nature worship so well established that the U.S. Army chaplain's office now provides pastoral services to military Wiccans. ("Witchcraft Gets Army's Blessing," Chicago Tribune, June 18, 1999) and a marketing executive from the major bookseller Barnes and Noble recently estimated a "U.S. 'Pagan' buying audience" of 10 million. Some high school killers have even been influenced by occult religion. Yes, one of Satan's major deceptions is through religion itself! The Apostle Paul uncovers this tactic, pointing out that Satan will not always appear as a serpent or a dragon, but will disguise himself as an angel of light! "For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ. And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works" (2 Corinthians 11:13-15). Satan, the prince of darkness, can appear as an angel of light, not just as the stereotypical dark force of occult worship. The Apostle Paul warned that Satan has his own ministers who appear as ministers of righteousness. That is why we challenge you not to believe us just because we assert some truth. We urge you to go to your Bible to find the truth. Remember the Bereans in Acts 17:11? Luke wrote that they "searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so." We all need to do that! Some clergy may be sincere, but sincerely deceived. Some ministers preach that you do not need to keep the Ten Commandments they falsely equate obeying God's law with salvation by works! But if any minister tells you that you do not need to obey God, ask him if he approves of disobedience or rebellion against God. The Apostle Peter wrote, "For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God- and if it begins with us first, what will be the end of those who do not obey the gospel of God?" (I Peter 4:17).

The Apostle Paul also warned those who disobey God's truth. "To those who are selfseeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness-indignation and wrath, tribulation and anguish, on every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek" (Romans 2:8-9). The Bible plainly teaches obedience to the truth, to the gospel, to the Ten Commandments and to God's righteousness. Counterfeit religions are one of Satan's deceptions. He appears as an angel of light, but leads millions away from the light of the The devil also seeks to capitalize on our Bible. human nature which is already vanity, SATAN WORKS ON OUR WEAKNESS selfishness, greed, envy and Satan is the most intelligent and most lust! powerful being ever created. He is the second-most intelligent, second-most powerful being in existence, second only to God. In carrying out his activities, Satan often relies on the fact that humans, including Christians, do not give him full credit for his abilities. Non-believers or those with weak faith, often refuse to believe he even exists. Christians often think (at least subconsciously) that God reduced the intelligence and/or power of Satan and his followers after they rebelled; there is no scriptural basis for this belief. Alternatively, Christians often think, at least subconsciously, that the mere fact they are good and demons are evil or the mere fact that the Christian believes in Christ is enough to protect them from demonic attacks. In fact, quite the opposite is true; someone once said "If you never meet the Devil on the road of life, it's probably because you are both headed in the same direction." Distinguish carefully between the Devil and Demons; The Devil and Demons are two entirely distinct orders of beings. The Bible doctrine regarding Satan is a very practical doctrine. There are certainly few doctrines that will go further than this in teaching us our utter dependence upon God and in driving us to prayer. 12
The devil also seeks to capitalize on our human nature which is already vanity, selfishness, greed, envy and lust! There is an evil influence that, as the Apostle Paul states it, "now works in the sons of disobedience." Paul writes of our deliverance, through Christ, from our past participation in the lusts of human nature. "And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others" (Ephesians 2:1-3). http://www.miracleinternetchurch.com Page 14

We must be able to identify in our own nature our human weakness and tendency to sin. That is why we need a living Savior to redeem us first of all from our past sins, and to give us the power to overcome the influences of the world, Satan and our own human nature! Some Christians struggle against their uncontrolled anger. Some who have been offended let their feelings turn to bitterness, malice, anger, hostility and hate. We should be angry at evil and the ways of Satan, but we must never hate another human being. We should despise their wicked conduct and attitude, but we should love even our enemies, as Jesus taught in Matthew 5:44. Be warned. Satan can control you if you do not control your anger. "'Be angry, and do not sin': do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil" (Ephesians 4:26-27). Uncontrolled anger can lead to a satanic bitterness, and anyone consumed with anger could end up in a lake of fire. Do not let Satan get the best of you. Learn to live at peace with others. We read, "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord: looking carefully lest anyone fall short of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by this many become defiled" (Hebrews 12:14-15). Even many Christians face difficulty and stress because of past hurts and abuse. They let a root of bitterness spring up in them. They want to hold on to the pain of the past and even to relish some imagined revenge. But what does God say? "... Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,' says the Lord" (Romans 12:19). God will ultimately inflict righteous judgment and punishment on all unrepentant sinners. But Christians need to learn to forgive! Jesus taught us in the "outline prayer" to ask God to "forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors" (Matthew 6:12). Do you pray that way? Pray for your enemies. Learn to let go and forgive. You will be thwarting Satan, and you will not be giving into his attitude of malice and revenge!

SATANS FATE AND CHRISTIANS VICTORY We have seen a few of the devil's strategies and how to avoid his deceptions. Realize that Satan's fate is already decided. At the final judgment, all the wicked will be consumed in the lake of fire. Satan and his demons will also be cast into the lake of fire. "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels"' (Matthew 25:41). He (God) really will save you from the *trap that the *bird-catcher (hid). ... Wings and feathers are pictures of big and small shields. ... If we trust in God (ask God for help and believe that he will give it) then he will protect us from illness and... We look forward to the time when all evil will be banished from this earth. We pray, "Thy Kingdom come!" Until then, Satan and his demons will continue to attack and deceive wherever they can. What can you do to overcome this evil force? Christians must overcome the influence of the world, the power of Satan and his demons and their own human nature.

First, we need a close relationship with God and Christ. God will protect us from evil. The outline prayer in Matthew 6 teaches us to pray, "And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one, For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen." God will protect you and deliver you from the evil one, if you ask Him to-if you chooses the Kingdom of God and rejects the kingdom of Satan. As He inspired the Apostle James to write, "But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: 'God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.' Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:6-8). These are two key points to remember in our battle with Satan. God has made these promises. You need not give in to depressing influences and feelings. Do not give in to temptations Satan throws your way, you can resist! And draw near to God. Get down on your knees and pray to your Father in Heaven. Study the Bible, God's Word, and follow its instructions. When Jesus faced Satan's temptations, He fought the devil by quoting scripture. Jesus used these spiritual weapons. You need them too! The Apostle Paul tells us to be fully armed spiritually "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the whole armour of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day and having done all, to stand" (Ephesians 6:10-13). You need the whole armor of God. If you are clothed with this armor you can win the battle. Satan is battling for your mind, for your character and for your spirit. But with God on your side, you can conquer him. Know your enemy knows his strategies. As the Apostle Paul wrote, "we are not ignorant of his devices" (2 Corinthians 2: 10). Can you actually overcome the devil? Yes, you can, if you use the sword of the Spiritthe Word of God-and if you live by that word. When Jesus resisted Satan, He said, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God"' (Luke 4:4). The power of God's Word in you can conquer Satan. The Apostle John wrote, "I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the wicked one" (I John 2:14).

God will give you the victory through Jesus Christ-you can overcome DIVORCE YOURSELF FROM THE COSMIC CHRIST evil. And the Creator God will banish Satan and his demons forever. They will be replaced by Jesus Christ and His faithful servants in the coming Kingdom of God. You can have peace of mind. Act on the instructions of your Bible, and with the help of the Savior, you too can overcome Satan. Matthew 24:15-21 Christ speaks of the destruction of Jerusalem, which was in a very true sense a Day of the Lord: 13 Matthew 24:15-21 [15] "So when you see standing in the holy place `the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel -- let the reader understand -- [16] then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. [17] Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of the house. [18] Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. [19] How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers! [20] Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. [21] For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now -- and never to be equaled again. From this, he passes on to speak of the great Day of the Lord yet to come: Matthew 24:22-31 [22] If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect those days will be shortened. [23] At that time if anyone says to you, `Look, here is the Christ!' or, `There he is!' do not believe it. [24] For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect -- if that were possible. [25] See, I have told you ahead of time. [26] "So if anyone tells you, `There he is, out in the desert,' do not go out; or, `Here he is, in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. [27] For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. [28] Wherever there is a carcass, there the vultures will gather. [29] "Immediately after the distress of those days " `the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.' [30] "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. [31] And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. So swift is the transition from the one to the other that it is difficult to mark exactly where it takes place. It is the same in Ezekiel's prophecy. Ittiobalus was in important respects an archetype of "the man of lawlessness."14

JESUS IS LORD CAME TO SAVE YOU FROM HELL In some intellectual circles it is not fashionable to believe that the devil exists. But hear now the voice of Yet two chapters in the Bible Isaiah 14 and Christ: "Then shall He say also unto Ezekiel 28-describe Satan's origin. Isaiah them on the left hand, Depart from prophesies about an end-time king of me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, Babylon who will rule a resurrected Roman prepared for the devil and his angels: Empire (described in Revelation 13, 17 and ... And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the 18), but the godly type-the human king righteous into life eternal" (Matthew mentioned-transitions to the anti-godly type, 25:41, 46). Satan the Devil, also called Lucifer. "How you are fallen from heaven, 0 Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, you who weakened the nations! For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High"' (Isaiah 14:12-14). Yes, and we could mention other men, greatly used of God, who believed in Hell. D.L. Moody, "The same Christ that tells us of Heaven with all its glories, tells us of Hell with all its horrors." Henry Ward Beecher, "The thought of future punishment for sinners which the Bible reveals is enough to make an earthquake of terror in every man's soul. Dr. W.N. Clarke, "The principle of retribution is right because good ought to work good and evil to work evil." Billy Sunday, "You will not be in Hell five minutes until you believe there is one." There is a real Hell for everyone who rejects the salvation offered in the Cross-work of Christ. Dr. Charles J. Woodbridge, author of the book, THE NEW EVANGELICALISM, speaks concerning the compromises of our day: "The very existence of this so-called 'neoevangelicalism' implies a discontent with and disapproval of the old-fashioned approach. It is felt that there must be a new, more moderate definition of orthodoxy, a milder view of the inerrancy of Scripture, less contending for the faith and more friendly give-and-take with modernists. The 'neo-evangelicals' desire seems to be to make as much common cause as possible with the enemies of the cross, to regard ministers who deny the Bible as 'fringefriends', to fraternize with believers as though we were all the family of God, and to do theological evil in order that good might result. This Jesuit attitude is not advocated in the

Bible. Indeed, it runs counter to the plain commandments of the Word of God. The true believer is to have no spiritual traffic with sin or error" (from The King's Business, p.14, may 1958). The New World Religion is here and you may follow any religion that you want and the Devil will answer. You may worship any false god, including yourself and it will be fine as long as you dont say that Jesus is the only way back to God. John 14:6, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. KJV The religious pathways to the gods will only lead people into the valley of hell. Matt 7:13-14, Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.KJV 2 Chron. 7:14-16 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attend unto the prayer that is made in this place. 16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house that my name may be there forever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually. KJV Rev 3:20-4:4, Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter. 2 And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. 3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald. 4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. KJV RESTORATION There are some teachers who believe that after the wicked have been punished in the lake of fire, they will then be taken out and transferred to Heaven. The main verse they use for this theory is Acts 3:21: "Whom (speaking of Christ) the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His holy prophets since the world began."

Let us notice, however, that the restoration is to be for all things "which God hath spoken by the mouth of all His Holy Prophets." There is not one place in the Bible where it is taught that the wicked and Satan will be restored unto Heaven after their punishment. All who believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God knows that there is no escaping the truth of the lake of fire for those who die in their sins. I do not know how it is possible for believers to say they believe in Hell, and yet do so little to "rescue the perishing, and care for the dying." It is because of the reality of the Lake of Fire that we proclaim the Gospel (THE GOOD NEWS) and send forth Christian literature. The time is short and whatever we are going to do to warn lost souls, we must do it now. This last verse was cited at the opening of this article. John declares these words immediately after declaring that many Antichrists have gone out into the world. These statements are set as contrasts to one another, and by comparing them we can gain much understanding about the nature of those who are Antichrists. Those who belong to Christ "have an anointing from the Holy One." By contrast we understand that those who are Antichrists have an anointing from some other source, and that source is not "the Holy One." I have posted a presentation of the subject of anointing, and I highly recommend it to those who desire to understand this subject better. Authentic anointing is defined as "the power of God to accomplish His will." Whenever God appointed a man or woman to a work, He never intended them to carry it out in their own strength or power. He would provide them the power to accomplish His work. The flesh cannot accomplish the will of God, for it profits nothing. It is the Spirit who alone can accomplish the works of God. Satan, of course, offers a counterfeit anointing in order to enable men to accomplish his works in this world. Satan rarely marches out and openly identifies himself, or his workers. He seeks to portray himself and those in league with him as workers of righteousness. II Corinthians 11:13-15 Such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles [sent ones] of Christ. No wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness, whose end will be according to their deeds. These false apostles and deceitful workers are one and the same as those whom John called Antichrists. 1 John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.KJV Matthew 7:15-18 "Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. bushes nor figs from thistles, are they? So every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot produce bad fruit, nor can a bad tree produce good fruit."
The apostle Paul wrote "it is not surprising if [Satan's] servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness." Ephesians 5:14-17

FREEDOM

Therefore He says: "Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light." See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.15 More and more people are contacting me that are having demonic bondages in their lives and their families. Since most of their churches are spiritually blinded concerning demonology issues of tormenting demons that are harassing them, they are desperate and looking for answers. Apart from the Name and Power of Jesus Christ there is no help.

AUTHORITY IN THE NAME OF JESUS Matt 12:29 Or else how can one enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. Matt 16:19And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matt 18:18 Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. We simply open our mouths call on his name and speak His Word and He, sitting in His seat of authority will receive our words in heaven and then He releases His power to usward who believe. He sends His power to overcome every attacking devil. It works with those who appear in person or prayer over the phone. I pray for people being oppressed by demons all the time and there is no distance Jesus authority in prayer. Jesus simply sends His power and delivers. There is no demon more powerful than Jesus. Unfortunately Jesus has mainly been taught as a historical figure or a helpless child who lived, grew up and died on the cross for our sins. Some so-called Christian pastors are claiming that Jesus is not God.

One television pastor said, My Bibles says in the Old Testament that God never sleeps and he does not get weary but the New Testament says, Jesus slept and got weary.. What Im trying to tell you is I thank my god that he never gets sleepy or weary. What Im trying to tell you, Jesus is not God! John 1:1-5 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. 4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. KJV Christians were taught if we make it through this life, our soul would go to heaven and that is certainly true. However, we were never taught of the great power that we have in our divine connection with the risen Christ who is sitting at the right hand of our Father giving His divine Power to usward who believe. Eph 1:17-23, That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to usward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power, 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places, 21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: 22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, 23 Which is his body, the fullness of him that filleth all in all. KJV Our Christ sits at Gods right in His Seat of Power giving His power to usward who believe. This means that when we reach out to Him as our Living Savior, He releases His power to us. He is more powerful than Satan and when we walk in His authority, we have sufficient power to overcome the power of the evil one. Christians must be taught to lean upon Jesus in order to survive the dangerous times that we are living in. We are now in the globalist ideology and it is not Christian oriented. Christians have only been taught to give to ministries and God will give back to them. Now, we must be taught how to truly trust Jesus. We must find the true spiritual reasons for the times that we are living. Romans 8:28 (KJV) And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Everything that happens--good or bad, joyful or sad--is under God's control. While God isn't the author of sin and evil, this passage reassures us that everything that happens is worked by Him into his grand plan. There's a reason for everything, even when we can't see it from our vantage point. Natural disasters. Terrorist acts. Injustice. Incurable disease. All these experiences point to suffering, and can cause people to question the love and goodness of a God who would let such things occurs... Jesus here warns about the decaying spiritual state of society. When people don't adhere to the faith, they find themselves caught in sin even more firmly than they were before they believed.

(1 Tim 4:1-2), Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron . . .@ If you are not yet saved, I plead with you in Jesus' Name, to turn from your sins and receive Christ as your own personal Savior. He is waiting to save all who will come to Him by faith.

PRAY: God be merciful to me a sinner. Receive me now for Christ's sake. Cleanse me from my sin by your precious blood, shed on the cross for me; fill me with your Holy Spirit. Teach me to pray each day; to read Your will for my life from your word, the Bible; and help me to worship and serve You in the fellowship of your church. I thank you Lord Jesus Christ. AMEN!
