El present simple es uno de los tiempos verbales en inglés.

Su uso correcto es
muy importante porque se utiliza para múltiples situaciones, las cuales podrás
encontrar un poco más abajo. Además, en esta guía conocerás sus usos
principales, cómo se forma (estructura), su conjugación. Además agregándole los
adverbios de frecuencia.

Present simple: como se utiliza

1. Dar a conocer acciones o estados permanentes

2. Comunicar acciones o estados que se repiten en el tiempo.

3. Transmitir rutinas, hechos continuos, o que se repiten en forma diaria.

4. Dar instrucciones o indicaciones

5. Mencionar hechos, citas o compromisos

Como es la estructura del presente simple para formar oraciones. Consiste


principalmente en afirmativo, negativo e interrogativo.

Present simple: estructura

Afirmativa Sujeto + verbo + complemento

Negativa Sujeto + auxiliar do/does not + verbo + complemento

Interrogativa Auxiliar do/does + sujeto + verbo + complemento

Es importante recordar que I, you, we, they , mas los sujetos plurales ( the girls,
the farmers, My students, etc ) el verbo no lleva s por ejemplo I read a book every
day. Sin embargo, cuando el sujeto es he, she , it o un sujeto singular (the girl, the
farmer, my student, etc) el verbo llevara un “s”. pro ejemplo The student reads the
book avery day.

Para utilizar la forma negativa se debe usar Do not o don´t con I, you, we, they o
sujetos plurales. Para he, she , it o sujetos singulares utilizamos Does not o doesn
´t

Para uitlizar la forma interrogativa se usa la inicio de la oracion el auxiliar DO (I,


You, we, they, plurales) y DOES (he, she, it, mas singulares)
