Align the Inspiratory and Bxpiratory Control Valves tthe appropriate holes in lewer control panel. Use retaining plier to snap the retainieg ring back onthe Control Valves. Install inspiratory and Expiratory Control knobs as illstated in Fig. 3. NOTE: To install the lspratory und Expratory pressure knobs, fis rotate the Inspiratory and Expiratory valve stems clockwise until they seat gently. Roiate ‘each valve stem counterclockwise 90" + 15°; instal the knobs with nob stop pin resting against the valve stop pin. Tura both valves fill counterclockwise. Connect Solenoid. (Connect al tubing back to New Non-Fludic Manifold as illustrated in Fig. 4 and reconnect the bon able. CCalibeate the Ventilator per inscuctions specified in Section 3.DOCUMENT NO. Slowty tum the Inpiratory contol knob fly clckwise. Adjust the 4 unl the manometer on the ventilator reads 20 ¢ 2.0.em #0. ‘Vorify the minimum Expiratory pressure. ‘Tam the Expiratory pressure contol knob counterclockowise unt it stops. Verify the manometer reads (-1.5) to (-6.5) cm of HO. Adjust R3 until the manometer reads (+13) t9 (-6.5) cm of HO. Recheck max. and mia. inspiratory and max expiratory pressure and adjust if necessary Adjust the manual breath button ‘Turn the ventilator mode to CPAP. While pushing manual breath bution, slowly tum the Inspiratory pressure control knob fully clockwise, Adjust R2 to70-7S em of H,0. ‘Set manual breath prossure t 30 ce, Tur knob to vent mode Inspiratory pressure should read + 2 em of manual breath pressure. Adjust pressures if necessary (Cheek for interaction. 3.9.1. Tum the Mode Switch to Vent. Tur the Inspiratory pressure control kncb until the manometer reads 30 + | em of Hy0. Turn the Expiratory pressure ‘contol knob counterclockwise to cloclowise. Verify tat the manemetce reading does not vary by more than 3 em of H:O. Repeat with Inspiratory Pressure set between 70 and 75 em HO. Tur the Expiratory pressure control krob until tbe manometer reads 10 Lmof HzO. Tarn the Inopiratory pressure conirol knob counterclockwise to clockwise, verify that the manometer reading des not vary by mare than 3 em af HO. Repeat with Expiratery prestuce set between 0 and -2 em HO. SECTION 4: FINAL CLOSE UP. 41 42 43 44 ‘Tum off power, air and oxygen supplis. Remove 0-60 psi gauge ftom the regulator assembly. Remove {iting (IV310) from the regulator assembly and intall fiting (P/N 3635) in the regulator Remove C-5 psi pressure gage from the port E on Manifold ard install the plug ‘back tothe Manifold as supplied originally. Install the four screws in the bark pane! and in the lower control panel
