Bike sales clerk: You could also try these road bikes.
They're a good alternative.
Customer: Hmm... I like them, but I'm looking for
something different. I'd like to buy a bike that is
comfortable and stylish.
Bike sales clerk: I see. Well, another option would be
these beach cruiser bikes. They have wide balloon tires,
which make your ride easy and comfortable.
Customer: I like that option. Would you recommend
them?
Bike sales clerk: Definitely! If were you, I'd choose this
type of bike.
Customer: I think you're right. That could work. Can give

Jonathan: What did you get Mark for his birthday?
Alex: I bought him a really nice hoodie. I ordered it
online. It was really expensive. You won't believe this,
but I ended up ordering two of the same hoodies for the
price of one. I gave one to Mark and kept the other one.

free sale.
Alex: No, this store doesn't offer that kind of sale. Are
you ready for this? I ordered it a week before his
birthday and it was supposed to arrive in three days. It
didn't, so I called customer service. The first package
was lost, so they ordered it again for me, free of charge.
Isn't that amazing?
Jonathan: That's great!
Alex: It arrived two days later, but that's not all!
Jonathan: Don't tell me there were two hoodies in that
package!
Alex: No. But, you know what? got the first package a
week later. I called the store to return it but they
wanted me to keep it.

If I had married my first love, we would have been unhappy and we could have had a lot of
problems and arguments, if I had gotten together with this girl my life could have been very
different, becuase she thought about herself and she never enjoyed when we go out to family
gatherings and sometimes she was irresponsible with her studies and some other things. I
remember that we used to argue a lot and that worsened the relationship. I believe that If we
had married, I would not have entered the university and I couldn't have studied my carrear.

¿Qué hubiera pasado si te hubieras casado con tu primer amor?

Si me hubiera casado con mi primer amor, habríamos sido infelices y podríamos haber tenido
muchos problemas y discusiones, si me hubiera juntado con esta chica mi vida podría haber
sido muy diferente, porque pensaba en sí misma y nunca disfrutaba. Cuando salíamos a
reuniones familiares y a veces era irresponsable con sus estudios y algunas otras cosas.
Recuerdo que discutíamos mucho y eso empeoró la relación. Yo creo que si nos hubiésemos
casado, yo no hubiera entrado a la universidad y no hubiera podido estudiar mi carrera.

2. What popular belief do you think isn’t positive for us?

I think that a popular belief that is not positive for us, is the lemon water, according to most
people if you drink it every day, you can lose weight, something that isn't medically approved.
Because lemon water is an acidic drink and if you drink it every day in too much quantity it can
produce negative effects for people's health like digestive problems especially people who
have gastritis, another point is that it could wear down the tooth enamel and cause cavities, so
it is not a good option to supposedly lose weight.

Creo que una creencia popular que no es positiva para nosotros, es el agua de limón, según la
mayoría de la gente si la bebes todos los días puedes bajar de peso, algo que no está aprobado
médicamente. Debido a que el agua de limón es una bebida ácida y si se bebe todos los días en
demasiada cantidad puede producir efectos negativos para la salud de las personas como
problemas digestivos especialmente en personas que tienen gastritis, otro punto es que podría
desgastar el esmalte dental y causar caries, por lo que no es una buena opción para
supuestamente adelgazar.
 3. What’s your favourite childhood memory?

My favorite memory about my childhood was playing around with my cousins. We used to
spend our time playing a lot of games in the back yard of the my grandfather's house, we also
used to go out to play in the neighborhood. We always went to a soccer field. The thing I
remember abuot having fun here was that we played soccer againts other children and the
losing team had to buy a big juice for the wining team. What I liked most about palying with
my cousins and friends was that we had fun without worries but, what I loved about being a
child was all the energy I had to play even in the rain.

Mi recuerdo favorito de mi infancia era jugar con mis primos. Solíamos pasar el tiempo
jugando muchos juegos en el patio trasero de la casa de mi abuelo, también salíamos a jugar al
barrio. Siempre íbamos a un campo de fútbol. Lo que recuerdo de divertirme aquí era que
jugábamos fútbol contra otros niños y el equipo perdedor tenía que comprar un jugo grande
para el equipo ganador. Lo que más me gustaba de jugar con mis primos y amigos era que nos
divertíamos sin preocupaciones, pero lo que más me gustaba de ser un niño era toda la
energía que tenía para jugar incluso bajo la lluvia.
