The mission of the Early College High School at Brookhaven is to ensure that students attend a supportive academic environment that enables them to graduate from high school and earn a minimum of 42 core college hours or an associate's degree.

About Us:
The Early College High School, located on the Brookhaven College campus, is an educational choice for incoming ninth grade students who are accepted into the program through an application process during the fall of their eighth grade year. The program blends high school and college in a rigorous, yet supportive program, compressing the time it takes to complete a high school diploma and the first two years of college. ECHS is currently joined by a memorandum of understanding with Brookhaven College which has committed time and resources to helping our students become academically successful, earn college credit tuition free, and successfully transition to an institution of higher education. Service & Character Initiatives:

ECHS students are encouraged to participate in volunteer projects throughout the year. These volunteer opportunities enable students to develop new skills and gain valuable life experiences as they learn about the community, public service and the district's core values.

Exemplary rating Twenty nine (29) of the 2011 graduates received their Associate Degrees from Brookhaven College.
