What is Biodiversity ???

Biodiversity refers to the diverse species of plants and animals in diferrent ecosystem on Earth.

Is the branch of Biology concerned with the identification , naming and classification of organisms. Systematic method of classifying plants and animals based on their characteristic and similarities. The organisms can be easily and accurately identified and enables scientists to communicate accurately and precisely with one another.

For this hierarchy, the most largest group is kingdom, and the most smallest group is species. Its can be divided into seven main group.

Organism in same phylum have the same characteristics, but differ from the other phyla. Organism in same class have same characteristics, but differ from other classes.

This system is used to naming the organism scientifically at

international level.

An organism is named with two Latin names.

The first name is the genus name. The second name is the specific name that is the species. Both must in Latin. The genus name begins with capital letter; while the species name begin with small letter. Printed in italics.
