Minimum system requirements OS Windows Server 2008 Enterprise Edition (R2 64 bit) Memory 2 GB ( 4 GB recommended) Processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz processor (Intel Xeon 3 GHz recommended) Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz processor (Intel Xeon 3 GHz recommended)

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.5 2 GB (4 GB 64 bit , Linux CENTOS 5.5 64 bit recommended) Requires Adobe Flash Media Server 4.5

Installing your software

Windows 1. Double-click the installer application and follow the on-screen instructions 2. Read and accept the End User License Agreement to continue the installation process 3. Enter the serial number (if no number is provided, development version of FMG will be installed which allows a maximum of 5 concurrent calls) 4. Enter the desired username and password to be used by the administrator for the HTTP interface 5. Accept the default install location or change to desired path 6. Select/Deselect following options( by default they are selected) Start FMG immediately after installation Start FMG after each system startup 7. Review your installation choices. Click Back to make any changes or click Next to continue the installation 8. Click Finish to exit the Wizard Refer to Installation and Configuration Manual supplied with the package for further information. Linux 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. Run installFmg.sh using command sh installFmg.sh and follow the instructions When prompted for the install location, press enter to select default location or enter desired location Enter username , press enter to keep the default value (admin) , else type the desired username Enter password , press enter to keep the default value (admin) , else type the desired password Confirm installation by pressing enter directly or by entering 'y' when prompted run setenforce 0

Uninstall your software

On Windows 1. Before you uninstall, close the application if it is currently running. 2. Open the Windows Control Panel and double-click Add or Remove Programs. Select Flash Media Gateway, click Change/Remove, and then follow the on-screen instructions. On Linux 1. Run uninstallFMG.sh kept in FMG install directory 2. Confirm that you want to uninstall when prompted to do so by entering y

SIP Devices Compatibility FMG has been tested with following SIP devices (PBX/proxy/router/softphone): Asterisk Open Source PBX 3CX PBX X-lite SIP softphone Zoiper SIP softphone

Supported Call Legs and Codecs/DTMF modes

Codecs supported on SIP side are: G.711 U-Law Speex

Codecs supported on Flash/FMS (RTMP side) are: NM (8k and 22k) Speex

DTMF mode(s) supported on SIP side are: RFC 2833 dtmf

Known issues

1. On Linux , after installation execute command run "setenforce 0" to diable security check so that FMG can run
