investigate and know about the information regarding the professions of his reference
according to the results of his tests and the interview, because much of the conflicts or
confusions that these have When choosing a career, they are due to the fact that they lack
information regarding the study options in relation to their aptitudes and abilities that they
possess.

This is why professional information is of great importance and if this process is not carried
out, vocational guidance can be considered incomplete, likewise this provision of
information regarding careers, occupations, work areas, job demands, career plans. study,
etc. They are carried out with two objectives:

Transmit the information and in this way be able to correct the distorted image that the
student may have with respect to the profession they wish to study or that is of interest to
them, this is because one of the sources that causes this distortion is the social valuation of
the professions. Another would be the media, which often do not provide truthful
information and confuse the student. This is why sources must be reliable and corroborated.

must know what their objective is, what their social purpose is, their role within the
socioeconomic context, what the population's need for that professional would be, and the
places in which this work would be carried out or in which institutions it could be carried
out.
