Maximilian Case
This analysis must include the following criteria:
- Diagnostic hypothesis of the case (individual and family; Dynamic and descriptive)
- Integrate with at least 5 bibliographical references a theoretical framework that gives
meaning to the analysis of the characters participating in the case. As students break down
the analysis of the case, they can integrate the theoretical elements that they consider
relevant.
- Integrate personal opinions researched into the transfer.
- Generate recommendations for a treatment. Other types of recommendations can be
considered simultaneously with therapy.

Chapter 2 “I am not afraid, I am strong”

-First session: Maximiliano goes to therapy because his parents want to know why he doesn't want
to stay the night at his father's nurva house located in the center, and they are worried.

He says he just doesn't feel like it. He is interested in card games. "I do not care"

They start playing a card game” The trick". He tells him “you're really bad, or you're letting me
win.”

Then he doesn't want to continue playing, he tells him “I don't want to play with you”, “You're
very scared” “You play like a girl” You don't have a killer instinct” The father taught him to play
cards, the father plays well, when it rains, and when it doesn't rain The father plays soccer.

Maxi says that his father forces him to play soccer, since he tells him that it is important for his
development and also for the “Killer Instinct.”

When the therapist asks you about sleeping at your mother or father's house, he wants to
investigate why you have trouble falling asleep.

Then, he admits that he doesn't like the food his father prepares, that he finds it disgusting.

His mother gives him money to shop at school, while his father tells him “your mother should stop
with that.”

“I have reserves for about a year” This is how the father refers to his son, although Maxi says that
this does not offend him because his father wants the best for him.

He says his mom stays up all night.

Maxi says that her mother cheated on her father, that she is a liar.

The therapist tells him that they are separated, and Maxi exclaims: “They are not divorced!”, and
he explains to Maxi that they are in the process of getting a divorce.
“Why do you think my dad left home?”

Then the mother (Ana) arrives at the consultation , and the mother tells her that she brought her
backpack in case she wants to stay with her father.

And he tells her that he doesn't like it because there is a lot of car noise that doesn't let him sleep
at night.

“I'm sick of you saying I'm scared!” -Maxi.

Dad (Martín) arrives. And he tells her that it doesn't seem logical to him that Max stays the night
alone at Ana's house. That he understands that such a process can take time but that it is enough
that he is his father.

“I want it after 18”

The father wants Maxi to go home at that very moment.

The therapist tells Maxi to get out of therapy.

“Look what he turned it into” as Maxi asks about the soap.

The father is upset that Maxi sleeps with his mother.

“He needs limits” The mother says that Maxi's life is falling apart, and the father tells him that to
make him stronger he will put limits on him

“You can't talk about whether he comes or doesn't come to sleep at my house” - dad.

There is something else that prevents Maxi from staying at home, “if I don't stand firm he will
never adapt (…) if he continues sleeping with his mother”

“It's really going to make him spend more time with me than with his mother” - dad.

Chapter 7 “I'm not sensitive, it's just all my fault”

The family waits in the waiting room.

And when Maxi has to go into therapy, his father says, “Did you see how he walks?”

Guillermo (the therapist) plays cards with Maxi.

sleep and he is lazy.

She waited 4 hours for the teacher, and she and the principal apologized for her through the

Chapter 12 “Little Brother”

Chapter 17 “Perfect Son”

Ana and Maxi arrive at the consultation. The mother will go on a trip with a friend for 8 days.

Maxi is going to stay with Martín. And the father will “try” to go to the consultation.

“Maxi is a different boy,” he no longer eats obsessively, he sleeps at night, he does his homework,
he sweats less.

The mother does not know what caused the change.

“It seems that Maxi is happy with his dad's new friend.”

They also told her about the loss of the pregnancy, in a restaurant for 3 hours.

According to Maxi, she handled the pregnancy loss well.

care of it for the rest of our lives.”

“My parents really wanted it (…) they did everything to have it (…) Treatment, my mother gave
herself injections all the time.”

“Imagine what they would have been like if at the end of everything they had to do they ended up
with a baby full of defects.”
T: Do you think you meet your parents' expectations?

M: They didn't have any expectations of me (…) I am a mistake”

The mother became pregnant when she was married to her previous husband.

“That's when he decided that I should stay and live with you” Maxi referring to his mother.

Guillermo prepares him some bread. Transfer? Maxi eats, and admits that he is still hungry.

Chapter 22 “Maxi and Martín”

Two weeks have passed and Ana still has not returned from her vacation in Brazil.

Maxi spent watching television, play, they went to the field.

abandon him in a certain way, when he feels that way, he eats.

And Martín told him, “If he didn't like the way things were, he should leave,” and he stood on
Maxi's side.

He did something that he is not used to doing, he did like Ana.

Maxi had a bag with all his things ready under the cam, his father noticed and felt ashamed.

 Chapter 27 “Maxi and the school”

Maxi arrives very early to Guillermo's office.

He never wants to go back to school. Maxi is fed up with school, everything weighs on him, he
can't take it anymore.

A colleague of Maxi, Alán, left a hate letter, and then the same text was written on the wall.

Maxi just wanted to get to the consultation no matter what.

His mother wants him to change schools, and his father doesn't.

Chapter 32 “Ana wants to go on a trip”

Martín was waiting for Ana,

“If it weren't for Maxi I would never see her again in my life” - Martín.

She arrived 20 minutes late.

The therapy today will be between the two of them.

Ana says that her son is going through a crisis, that's why he doesn't want to return to school.

classmate at school who seems to like Maxi.

Chapter 37
Maxi continued going to school, he gave him a pineapple and Alán stopped bothering him.

The therapist asked him about Flor.

“I don't want to meet anyone, I'm not interested”

“I don't feel like starting all over again”

“No one asked me what I thought.”

“They look like two kids, one day they get along well and the next day they get along badly. What
is my fault?”

The therapist is happy to see him angry, because this time he is angry instead of feeling guilty.

Anger is a feeling that comes out, and guilt stays inside and does not come out.

Maxi confronts his parents, and makes them understand that they listen, but do nothing, that
