ANNUAL REVIEW AND TESTING PROGRAM FOR FIRE EQUIPMENT, FIRE ALARMS AND FIXED FIRE
SYSTEMS.

Fire equipment, fire alarms and fixed fire systems must undergo a monthly review to verify that they are
in proper operating conditions, as well as placed and marked appropriately.

The results of the reviews will be recorded in the Record of Results of the Review and Testing of fire
equipment, fire alarms and fixed fire systems , by the personnel assigned by the Program Manager.

The review should include:

Equipment or system Revision Proof

Physicals conditions Activation of all activation devices.
Hydrants and monitors. Monthly .
Check the hose cabinets to ensure that they
are not damaged and that all equipment is in
good condition.
Annual .
Check that all hydrants are accessible
Annual.
In wet column hydrants. Check the tightness
of the hydrant outlets; leaks at the top of the
hydrants and at the joints of the covers;
breaks in the body of the hydrant, and wear
on the opening nut.

Pipe network. Monthly. Triannual.

Check for leaks, spills or physical damage Branch flow.
Hoses and nozzles. Monthly. Triannual.
Check for leaks, spills or physical damage Hydrostatic hoses.
Hose box (cabinet). Monthly.
Verification of content, cleanliness,
accessibility and possible physical
damage.
Personal protective equipment booth. Monthly.
Verification of content, cleaning,
accessibility and possible physical
damage.
