JURNAL 2008 ANALISIS PENGEMBANGAN PERANGKAT LUNAK MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIFDI BALAI PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN LUAR SEKOLAH DAN PEMUDA REGIONAL IV SURABAYA DALAM PERSPEKTIF REKAYASA PERANGKAT LUNAK Putu Ashintya Widhiartha* & Dwi Ari Noerharijanti* In the last few years Out of School Education and Youth Development Center (BPPLSP) Region IV has designed and produced several Interactive Multimedia Software as the implementation of the information technology into non-formal education. In this paper, the author would like to describe the analysis of interactive multimedia software development at BPPLSP Region IV in the software engineering perspective. The development of interactive multimedia software is a process which needs multi competencies from its personnel, therefore this paper maintains full respect to other disciplines. KEEFEKTIFAN KOMUNIKASI NONVERBAL DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR WARGA BELAJAR PAKET B PADA MATA PELAJARAN BAHASA INGGRIS Edi Basuki In relation wit the effort of improving learners motivation, onething to consider is the tutors ability in applying nonverbal communication in the classroom especially in reinforcing the learners achievement and delivering the lesson. In the English classroom, nonverbal communication is very important that tutors must employ it considering that English need coordination of speech and act. Combination of talk and act is veri important in teaching English since it is closely related to learners motivation. In a communication, learners motivation can determine the intensity of their responses toward messages communicated by tutors. It means that the higher the nonverbal communication intensity employed by tutors, te higher the level of message acceptance by the learners. Thus, the message itself and the delivery technique should be considered carefully by the tutor to strengthen the relation of stimulus and responses. It is considering that the age of the learners ranging between fifteen to nineteen years oldin psychological perspective it is classified to be preadolescence, characterized by the behaviors of emotional, apatic, rebellion, difficult to advise and low learning motivation. Therefore, tutors should pay more attention especially on the English lesson in so that teaching learning activities will run smoothly and effectively. In Indonesias illiterasy quantities, the biggest illiteracy is women, otherwise illiteracy have strong correlations with human resource development. If mother as illiteracy will give impact to his children to become illiteracy and that illiteracy have correlation with need of an achievements indexs. To improve woman capability in community, woman with illiteracy must be empowered by give him ompetency in read, write, and calculate. Keywords; woman, illiteracy, empowerment, motivation PENGARUH KOMUNIKASI INTERPERSONAL TUTOR TERHADAP MOTIVASI PESERTA DIDIK DI KELOMPOK BELAJAR KEAKSARAAN FUNGSIONAL (KEJAR KF) BINAAN BALAI PENGEMBANGAN PENDIDIKAN LUAR SEKOLAH DAN PEMUDA (BPPLSP) REGIONAL IV Hermien Sri Handarini Absrtact: Functional literacy program (KF) emphasizes on the increment of living quality and society endeavor. The success of this program, basically, is not far from active role of tutors in the field, moreover tutors with good interpersonal communication ability and able to awake studying motivation of participants. Based on the tutors ability, the statement of the problem in this research is whether tutor interpersonal communication influences participants in the group that study functional literacy (KF pursuit) under the guidance of Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Luar Sekolah dan Pemuda (Association of Out of School Education and Youth Development) (BPPLSP) Regional IV? The hypothesis in this research is a conceptual research, therefore the hypothesis in this research is: Tutor interpersonal communication influences the motivation of participants in the studying group of functional lettering (KF pursuit) under the guidance of BPPLSP Regional IV. Interpersonal ommunication is defined as communication inside oneself. Inside of the body of a person, there is communication components such as sources, messages, channel, receiver and reply. In the interpersonal communication, only one person that involved. Message is started and ended in each individual. Motivation is defined (Robbins, 1996:198) as the supply to perform higher effort to reach organizations purposes, that influenced by the ability of a person to fulfill individual need. The population in this research is participants of studying group in functional lettering (KF pursuit), Maju Sejahtera, Kejar KF Tanjung and Kejar KF Kreatif. The number of participants in the Institution is 30 persons. Variables in this research are Communicator Characteristics (X1), Message Attraction (X2), Message Characteristics (X3) and participants or students studying motivation. The result of this research is that Rcount which shows the correlation between independent variable and dependent variable is 0,856, which means that the correlation between independent variable and dependent variable is considered strong. The hypothesis examination is done because Fcount = 23,826 > Ftable (2,98), therefore Ho is accepted at significance level 5% with numerator df 3 and denominator df 25 which means jointly communicator characteristics, message attraction and message characteristics significantly influence studying motivation of participants of KF pursuit. Meanwhile, hypothesis examination partially shows that variable X2 and X3 influence tied variable, and variable X1 partially does not influencetied variable in the studying motivation. PENGARUH KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DAN ADVERSITI TERHADAP PENINGKATAN PRESTASI KERJA (Studi Pada Tenaga Fungsional di Balai Pengembangan Pendidikan Luar Sekolah dan Pemuda/BPPLSP) Marliah This study tries to find out the determination of emotional intelligence and adversity toward working performance. The subject of this research is Functional Force at Year 2001 Period at BPPLSP Regional II Bandung, Regional III Semarang and Regional IV Surabaya. Total sample of this research is 40 persons, and research data is analyzed by using regression analysis. From the data analysis result, F = 1.661 and p = 0,202, and it shows that there is no significant determination of emotional intelligence and adversity to working performance improvement. Emotional intelligence gives effective contribution to working performance improvement that is 3.144% and effective contribution of adversity to working performance improvement is 5.095%, and it means that there is 91,761% working performance improvement which can be explained by other variables besides emotional intelligence and adversity.
