HTLP6O also has excellent ‘compatibity and has been extensively used on mary othe millapplied coatings (see below), | Construction: Three-layer eystem First layer. Liquid epoxy, solven-ree two-component. ‘+ Second layer High shear streneth copolymer adhesive, + Third layer: Reciation cross-inked, high density povethylene with Permanent Change Indicator (PCI). DDuting installation, the epoxy is applied tothe prepared pipe surtace and the heat-shrinkable sleeve is immediately wrapped around the joint over the wet epony. Heats then applied tothe sleeve which shrinks to form 2 tight ft around the joint. While curing, the epoxy forms strong ‘mechanical and chemical bonds tothe pipe surface & othe copolymer _achesive layer. The racation cross-linked outer layer forms & tough barrier agaist mechanical damage and moisture transmission. Features: | + Ful resistant o shear forces induced by sol and thermal movements. + Sleeve applied over wot epoxy, alowing formation ef strong mechanical & chemical bones, - + Superior cathodic aisboncment and hot water immersion resistance. ‘= Fully reconstructs the coating of three-ayer coated pipes, ‘+ Dimpled backing provides a “permanent change” indicator for application of heat Benefits: = The HTLP is tough & lasts as long as 2 S-layer, mil-applied coating * Allows fast appication combined wih high performance! «© Offers the optimum barrier protection against corrosion, * BILE eytems alow ho pone to havea Vitaly monolheceatng system, + Ensures correct application heat & allows easy post-heat inspection Reliabe inspectabilty at any tre.
