It will be present at the first five monitor functions. There are two different status displays, depending on the selected elevator system configuration STATUS, 1 relay interface or discrete i.e. cannot access DCSS via controller , MS300, MCS 310/ 312/ 120/ 220, 335. STATUS 2 can access DCSS via controller. This means that the door can be programmed so that it will not fully reopen, but just stop at that point. This may be required for some modernisation solutions. If the safety link is interrupted by the EDS signal, the DCSS shuts down, and disables the motor supply. This command can only be entered when the SVT is directly connected to the DCSS and configured to SERIAL. D1: RDY OPN < > POSIT = 0045mm The door position is calculated from the encoder pulses and displayed in mm, it corresponds to the door opening and is 0 mm if the doors are fully closed. If the open or closed distances are not stable, check for interference, earth wires missing or loose, screens missing or loose. Also drive belt tension, may need to remove spring? DO NOT USE THIS WITHOUT PRIOR KNOWLEDGE. MONITOR DAC M-3-1-7 This is used by engineering to monitor the system, it is the digital to analogue converter. SELFTEST M-3-2- This will start the self test for the board, the internal on- chip RAM of the 80535yc and the external RAM, plus the checksums of the EPROM and the EEPROM. RAM’S Internal External RAM: INT + EXT + E2PROM - RROM? EEPROM EPROM The results of the selftest will be shown as follows, 2or‘' selftest is running. - negative result. + positive result. If the result of the EEPROM test was a minus, this indicates that the checksum has changed, due to programming, since the last check, rerun the selftest again to give a + answer. If the doors are moving, either open or closed, the selftest cannot be started and the SVT shows thus. This is updated every two hours into the EEPROM for permanent storage. INST = 1 PROF = 2 OTHER = 3 ENG =4 Choosing numbers 1 - 4 here will change the screen to one of the setup sections in the EEPROM. NOTE, new values are checked against upper and lower limits by the DCSS, if the new value is outside the limits of this parameter it will not store it, and will increment the ERROR counter. When the door supervisor is in the ready mode, and the door is not full open or closed position, a change of the setup parameters is not allowed and the following display is shown. DOOR IS RUNNING PLEASE WAIT NOTE, WHEN USING ANY SETUP MENU THE SVT SHOULD BE DIRECTLY PLUGGED IN TO THE DCSS SVT PORT AND THE CAR BE ON TCI CONTROL. TO PREVENT INTERFERENCE THE DCSS BOX COVER MUST BE FITTED AT ALL TIMES. POCKET MANUAL for OTIS DO2000 Date Oct 1998 Page 22 INSTALLATION ROUTINE In order to simplify the installation the compete procedure is menu driven and displayed on the service tool. The user only need follow the instructions displayed and to confirm the requests SET DEFAULT PARAMETERS. The first time a system is used a set of default parameters has to be copied to the EEPROM if not the system will not run, or this can be skipped if the unit has already had parameters that do not require rewriting. INTERF: SERIAL J use GOON / ENTER } DISCRETE = cannot access DCSS via controller, MS300/MCS310-312/MCS120-220/MCS335. SERIAL = can access DCSS via controller MCS311/MCS321/MCS411. RELAY = modernisation / e.g. VIP260. For relay and discrete choice the message “ no serial link” is seen, press ENTER when the choice is made. WARNING, IF THE CHOICE MADE IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH THE CONTROLLER THEN IT MAY NOT RUN, OR CAUSE FAULTS. CHK MOTOR ROTATN CLS = 1 OPN=2NO =3 Enter a command, close = 1, open = 2, no check = 3, you must now confirm that the command, and the door movement are correct. ENCODER OK? <> YES= 1 NO = 2 Now confirm yes / no that the SVT door signal is going the same way as the doors. After the preceding checks have been completed, an automatic learn run is started, to build up the working parameters like door width, motor turns, encoder resolution and slippage of the system. To learn these unknown values the door has to move twice, the first to learn the optimum values, the second is to measure the complete opening, this is very accurate as all future calculations will come from this. NOTE, do this with the lift in skate, to see the full opening also check for any tight size doors, set to smallest. When the learn run is finished, the screen shows, POSITION 1000 door size FINISH PRESS M in mm Programming of the parameters is now complete. NOTE, the learn run can only be selected if the SVT is plugged directly into the DCSS or it will show, NOT AVAILABLE PLUG SVT ON DCSS IF the lift is not on TCI control, then the screen will show, SET INSPECTION SWITCH TCI POCKET MANUAL for OTIS DO2000 Date Oct 1998 Page 27 LEARN RUN cont., TIPS, SVT Key M-3-3-3 a/ for door openings of 900 to 1300, it may be necessary to modify the “ voltage boost” parameter set at 10% default. 900 = 15% 1300 = 20% SVT Key M-3-3-4 b/ in the learn mode if the car doors do not fully open due to door protection timers (not adjustable) then the “initialise speed” parameter must be increased. WARNING, set open and closed time to 8 sec +/- 1 sec. NOTE the above tip enters the engineering parameters except to do this do not alter any other, as the parameters here are loaded automatically by the start of DCSS run. Voltage boost......voltage offset when frequency is zero to increase motor torque,( for reopen after detector demand). Passenger protec....slip limit for obstacle detection / passenger protection. = 8 %. TCI with BS7255.....door control with TCi box to BS. EFS_operation.... flag to enable EFS and disable 2nd profile.( must be 1 on fireman’s lift) REL1 - distance...position of door open limit switch. REL2 - distance...position of door close limit switch. REL3 - distance...position of the car gate switch, to give the DFC signal to the SVT, code requires a mechanical gate switch as weil. REL4 - close dist....position of safety gate lock closed, ( SGL or vandal magnet). RELS5 - open dist....position of safety gate lock open, ( SGL or vandal magnet). M-3-4 This is provided to enter door commands by the service tool to the DCSS, e.g. to test the door movement or parameter setup. As scon as the doors start to close (first 25mm only) trigger the detector or DOB, doors should fuliy reverse and fully open, if not increase the setting of OPD IDLE VOLTAGE parameter. 2. Make sure the PCB earth wire bond is connected. 3. Make sure that the door motor cable gland connected to the DCSS box has its shield to the earth collar in the gland. 4. If the door motor gets too hot to touch, increase the setting f(u= 100%) from 40 to 60hz. 5.
