Then count twolve full turns CLOCKWISE. * Start the engin, leave at IDLE speed and adjust the IDLE speed potentiometer in the ‘control box until the engine is operating at 850 RPM. Turing the potentiometer CLOCKWISE increases engine RPM. ‘+ Checking No-Load Operation of Controller (See fig. 5) * Press engine start switch (26, Fig. 1) a second time to increase engine RPMs to approximately the rated speed (2400 RPM). * Tum the “GAIN" potentiometer (4) full CLOCKWISE. The frequency meter gage and governor should become unstable and oscilate. Ifit does not, marwally bump the linkage to cause ito oscillate. + Slowly turn the "GAIN" potentiometer (3) COUNTER CLOCKWISE until the oscillations stop.
