Gestamp Wind has been awarded with two new wind farms in Brazil

(Madrid, August 26, 2011) Gestamp Wind, the wind energy division of Gestamp Renewables (Corporacin Gestamp), has been awarded with two new wind energy sale contracts with a period of 20 years in Brazil. These wind farms sum up a total of 48 MW and with them, Gestamp Wind will now have 240 MM in Brazil. With these two new wind farms, a total of over 70 million Euros of additional investment will be brought to Brazil, the forecasted revenues are of over 130 million Euros and an the estimated EBITDA is of over 100 million Euros for the 20 years period of the energy sale contracts. Gestamp Wind currently has under construction 167 MW in 7 Brazilian wind farms located in Bahia and Rio Grande Do Norte, which are expected to be operating by the years 2012 and 2013. Gestamp Wind also has 25 MW located in Pernambuco, operating since 2010. Additionally, Gestamp Wind enable10 wind energy projects of 250 MW in the past auction, which represent the most advanced projects of the portfolio of over 1.000 MW located throughout Brazil.
