TREO Announces New Leadership


Tucson, Arizona (August 24, 2011) The TREO Board of Directors has elected the following to serve leadership roles for Fiscal Year 2011-12: Chairman of the Board: Paul Bonavia, President and CEO, UniSource Energy Corp. & Tucson Electric Power Company Vice Chair of the Board: Steve Eggen, Chief Financial Officer, Raytheon Missile Systems Secretary/Treasurer: Dan Alcombright, President and CEO, SOLON Corporation, NA In addition, the following have recently joined as new members of TREOs Chairmans Circle and Board of Directors: Chairmans Circle: Michael Crow, President, Arizona State University Judy Rich, President and CEO, Tucson Medical Center Eugene Sander, President, University of Arizona Board of Directors: Barry Bendall, Vice President, Principal Relationship Manager, Wells Fargo Bank Duane Blumberg, Mayor, Town of Sahuarita Patty Feeney, President, Southern Arizona Market, JPMorgan Chase Bank, NA Rodney Glassman, Director of Public Sector Solutions, Waste Management Bill Harris, President & CEO, Science Foundation Arizona Dave Hutchens, Executive Vice President, UniSource Energy Corp. & Tucson Electric Power Gregg Johnson, Southern Arizona Campus Director, University of Phoenix Virgil Renzulli, Vice President, Public Affairs, Arizona State University David Smallhouse, Managing Director, Miramar Ventures Leslie Tolbert, Vice President, Research, Graduate Studies and Economic Development, UA TREO continues its Board of Directors expansion efforts begun in 2010. Economic development has become a higher priority, demanding increased engagement from the key companies, organizations, and people that drive the Southern Arizona economy. The new leadership recognizes the importance of providing strong thought leadership for community development and strengthening the Tucson product and positioning as a business center.
