The Farmers Market is outside on the lawn/terrace area of the Victoria General Parking lot from May October.
Some vendors are in by 8:30 come down!

The door at the back of the Scotia Room cafeteria (near the ATM) will be open for the market and your convenience when coming from inside. 1. Market Music (Busker) Christian Nadon, a musician from Montreal, and his guitar has joined the Market for the season. Christian will play from 11 to 1:15, or longer if the people are there to enjoy the music. Look for him on the terrace. Christian has copies of his CD available for sale. Christian will be leaving after the Aug. 26 th market for 3 months in Montreal. 2. BBQ- Yes, the popular BBQ with their Mushroom Burgers on a Fresh Multi Grain bun is here! They also have Beef Burgers, for you meat lovers! Their tent is next to the Evans Seafood truck at the top of the terrace. 3. Big Monkey Kettle Corn Big Monkey Kettle Corn will not be available at the HI Summer Street location until mid Sept. Its a little bit Sweet & a little bit Salty, and its Gluten, Dairy & Nut Free too! 4. Blossom Shops This week Penny has Dyed Daisy at 2 bunches for $11 and green Fuji Spider Mums at $7.50/bunch. Penny also has Roses (purple, pink & green) for $1/stem. 5. Bohemian Bubbles Terri is back this week. Terri has hand-made spa soaps made with fresh goats milk, vegetable oils and luxuriant oils of palm, coconut, and olive. They are boxed in recycled packaging. 6. Boulangerie la Vendenne Certified Organic French Bakery with 20 different breads & a variety of viennoiserie, baguettes, sourdough, etc. 7. Elmridge Farms Elmridge Farm has a wide variety of fresh produce! They have potatoes, corn, sugar snap peas, shell peas, zucchini, beets and greens, carrots, lettuces, and so much more. Most of their produce is unsprayed but they will tell you what is. 8. Evans Seafood FRESH THIS WEEK: Cod, Haddock, Red Fish and Trout! They will also have their regular frozen products including their delicious fish cakes. Stock up for those end of summer BBQs! 9. G.E.M.M.S. from Forest & Farm: G.E.M.M.S. has a 3 acre market garden that is sold at the Antigonish Farmers Market and through a CSA program in Antigonish. G.E.M.M.S. offers both fresh and dried Chanterelles harvested in Nova Scotia. Recipes are available. Traders in Wild Edibles such as Chanterelle mushrooms and Fiddleheads. At this time wild Chanterelle Mushrooms are in season. They are unavailable to come to the market at this time but they will take orders and the mushrooms can be delivered to you. Jordans Natural Acres A variety of meat/poultry cuts and eggs. They have Certified Free Range Chicken breasts (bone in or boneless), thighs, wings, quarters, legs, and ground chicken. They also have Free Range BEEF available! Ground beef or stew meat. Steaks: rib eye, round, T-bone, sirloin, tenderloin, and strip loin. Roasts: sirloin, blade, cross rib, and rump. Stop by for a sample of their Nellies Ginger Wine! 15. Noggins Corner Farm Ian is here and will be bringing fresh fruit and vegetables now in season! They will soon have early apples. They have berries, fresh cider, onions and much of the early produce available in the valley. 16. Pats Preserves This week Pat will have Corn Relish, Mustard Pickles, Pickled Beets, Green Tomato Chow, Dill Pickles, Million Dollar Relish, Zucchini Relish and Premium Marinade. Pat is a honey of a guy but he sells some too. For the BBQ, get your marinades and meat rubs and don't forget Pats rib sauce! Did you know that Pats Fig & Grand
Marnier Jam, his 3 Fruit Marmalade & his Sweet & Tangy Pepper Jelly are now being served at Obladee Wine Bar on Barrington Street? Pats products are now also available at Murphys Cable Wharf. Pat has wedding favours with

Ratinaud - Frederic is here with his score of French Cuisine products. He will be bringing pts, rillettes, and quiches! Frederics products are also served at the Obladee Wine Bar. 18. Salty Dog Barkery Yes, it is spelled it right! Heather Limpert, new to us but a regular at the Lunenburg Farmers Market, makes dog treats (or incentive food, if you prefer!) Her biscuits are made with no dyes, no added salts and no preservatives. She uses Rye flour, oats, eggs, various fruits/veggies & of course meats and fish. She makes her own broth to be aware of everything that goes into her treats. Heather was energized and inspired this week and has 2 new products. Beam Me up Biscotti is assorted crunchy pieces of biscotti made especially for dogs with liver, bee, carrots, sardines & other

yummy ingredients. The second new product is Pupsqueaks. They are teeny tiny treats for small dogs, puppies & for those in training. They come in assorted flavours. 19. Schoolhouse Gluten-Free Gourmet Jen will be here with all of your favourites.
