Captain Ben Saper 07 Despite horrendous playing fields and wicked windy afternoons, BMO improved this weekend, especially with our zone offense and zone defense. While playing in the championship game is commendable, BMO still needs to complete an entire game both on the field and on the sidelines. Its evident that playing as one unit will be essential to improvement and reaching our full potential as a team. This weekends Centex tourney is very competitive and will be an indicator of BMOs future competition.

Special thanks to the Fetting-Smiths: You absolutely took amazing care of us this weekend, from all of the great tournament food and drinks you brought us, to a special Baltimore-style feast on Saturday night, to cheering us loud and proud the entire weekend. We really loved all the support! See you soon!

Thoughts on this season: Its going to be great. I was out last spring with a broken ankle, so Ive watched a huge amount of Brown Ultimate, and Im really ready to play some more. We are a much more experienced team now, and so we can set our sights much higher. Beating Stanford the # 1 seed at their own tournament shows that we can beat anyone when we play well. If we string together some great games, we will go far. Why will BMO succeed this Spring 2007? We are stronger then we were last year in pretty much every waysuperstars in the upper class, and sophomores whove figured their stuff out, becoming real college elite players, and a strong group of freshmen, some of whom already have the kind of throws that make me jealous...and I love it!
