We are currently accepting proposals for our upcoming series, STATES OF POSTCOLONIALITY.The series will engage the roles of artists and the arts in a global politics of decolonization through investigations of three specific regions: Egypt, Canadas North, and Lithuania. What conditions are shared amongst this multiplicity of postcolonialities? How can the framework of postcoloniality help us to address structural inequalities and be more strategic in our efforts toward decolonization, grounded in social and environmental justice? We are seeking essays, interviews, reports, reviews and projects that explore, interrogate, and perform states of postcoloniality. Reflecting series content, we are especially interested in projects and perspectives coming from the Aboriginal populations of occupied Turtle Island, of diverse diaspora living in Canada, and of Canadian expats. Enjoy, Anita Agrawal & Helen Yung Stand Firm Central Network Co-Facilitators
