Kent, WA 98032 8. INSPECTION INSTRUCTIONS ‘A. Connect the probe to the eddy current instrument and adjust the instrument frequency to 200 kHz. B. Null the probe on the surface reference standard away from the calibration notches. C. Adjust the lift-off deflection on the impedance plane instrumentation so the deflection of the lift-off ‘race is horizontal and deflects from right to left as the probe is lifted from the part surface. D. Set sensitivity by adjusting the instrument controls to obtain a signal of at least 3 major screen divisions of separation between the lift-off response and the signal from the 0,020 inch deep notch in the reference standard, 5-15-31 Page 1 © Cessna Arora Company Jan 3/2005 CESSNA AIRCRAFT COMPANY MODEL 310R MAINTENANCE MANUAL, E.
