Las mercancias no so ombalarin antes de su inspeccion y ‘aceptacién por parte del Comprador. La emisién de la Autorizacion {do Envio por parte del comprador no libera en ningun caso al proveedor de su responsablidad en la efcienca y adecuacion del ‘embalaje y marcado, 6.2. £1 Provaedor tomaré fotogratias de cada uno de los bultos previas al corrado de los mismos, mostrando la isposicion de los ‘materiales en su interior. OHLI podra requerir el envio de estas fotografias antes 0 después de Ia emision de la Autorizacion de Env, king I € 6 los bultos, de ia mereancia er 6.4. Las conexiones y en general toda aberura deberin estar proiegidas adecuadamente y tapadas para evita infitracion de hhumedad. Los extremos de tubos mecanizados y no mecanizados ¥ de orifcios con rosca deberdn estar carrados y protagidos por fapones metdlices de material igual 0 superior al de los propos equips. 65. Todas las _mercancias deberdin estar debidamente asoguradas dentro del amibalale para evilar el movimiento durante al transi. 6.6. Sifuese necesario, las piezas méviles y sueltas del equipo se sujetaran temporalmenie mientras se produce el ténsio, Deberd haber advertencias claras sobre los items afectados para que se ‘etiren los elementos de seguridad antes de la puesta en marcha e os mismos. Estos elementos no deberdn rayar 0 dafar los 5. GENERALPACKING REQUIREMENTS 5.1. The packaging will be adequate to protect the materials and equipment against losses, physical damage and deterioration ‘caused by weather conditions and marine agents as well as by the handing, storage and transport operations from its collection at the supplier's workshop up t Rs delivery atthe final destination '5.2. The protection of the material and the corresponding shipping marks should not only be guaranteed during the period of transport, but aiso for a period of at least one year of outdoor storage under atmospheric conditions atthe final destination, 5.3. These Instructions are the minimum packaging requirements, The supplier's own experience and good practices shall determine any improvement to ensure safe delvery of the supply in the above mentioned coraitions, 5.4. Compliance with these minimum requirements does not Constitute a limitation to supplier's full responsiblity for the efficiency and adequacy of the packaging 5.5. Supplir shall be held liable for any consequences arising of inadequate packaging, Inlucing, but not fimited to, loss andor damage to. the goods due to poor packing ‘or marking reconditioning of the packaging for its acceptance by shipping companies 28 well as the possible demurrages or dead freights ‘tat may be caused by such work 538. Should tho packing and marking not be found in accordance with these specications, supplier shal if deemed necessary, ro make the packaging andior marking at his own cost. Also, in case the packaging is found defective oF inadequate al the shipping por, purchaser shall be ontlied to carry out possible repairs at supplies expense or request supplier's intervention 6 PREPARATION FOR SHIPMENT 6.1. Goods shall not be packed before its inspection and ‘acceptance by the purchaser. The issuing of the purchaser's Release Note shal in no way relieve supplier of responsibilty for the efficiency and adequacy ofthe packaging and marking, 62 Supplier wil take pictures of each package, showing the spositon of the materials and parcels inside the boxes and crates, before its closing. OHL!' may require these pictures photographs before or after the issuance ofthe Release Note, 63. Under no circumstances shall invoices or valued packing lists be placed inside or outsige the packages. 6.4. Connections and in general any opening shall be adequately protected and plugged to prevent moisture inftration. Mechanized and non-mechenized pipe ends and threaded openings shall be tlosed and protected by metal plugs of material equal or Superior to the equipment itset. 5. All packed goods must be duly secured inside the packaging to prevent movement during transit. 86. If necessary, loose and moving parts of the equipment shall be secured temporary while the transit occurs. Clear warnings will be indicated on the affected items to withdraw the securing laments prior to the start up of the equipment. Los atados y tos pallets retractiados se aceptardn tras acuerdo formal del Compeador. 6.16. El uso de contenedores no exime de que el embalaje sea adecuado sogin las presenies instucciones. Los contenedores Usados de ultimo viaje deberdn tener vigente la homologacién CSC. certficada por RINA, Registfo LLOYD 0 cualquier otro registro naval 6.17. MERCANCIAS PELIGROSAS Las mercancias peligrosas productos deberin ser embaladas siguiendo las espectfcacionas dela Organizacion Martina Intemscional (IMO), de la Asaciacén Intemacional de Transporte ‘Aérea (IATA) yl al ratado ADR, segin aplique. ‘Si ol alcance del Proveedorincluye alguna mercancia considerada ‘como pelgrose por alguna de las entidades arriba mencionadas (2 responsabilidad exclusiva del Proveedor el asegurar que los materiales peligrosos se embalan y marcan de acuerdo con las ‘especticaciones de estas entdades. Los productos quimicos y materiales peligrosos estaran siempre Identiicados por su corespondiente fcna de datos de seguridad (Material Safety Data Sheet, MSDS). Esta cha deberé contener foda la informacién relativa al producto, protecciones y medidas requeridas para su transporte y manipulacién. Adicionalmente ta ficha sefialard.el_nimero UN (UN Code), posibies riesgos Secundarios y el Grupo de Embalaje de acuerdo a nomatva IMOGIATAIADR. Este tipo de mercancias se embalarin en bullos diferentes, no mezclados con mercancias no peligosas. Ei Proveedor cumplrs los requerimientos ‘de tas agencias de transporte y ser responsable de emit la Deciaracion de Meccancias Paligrosas. Todo coste derivado de la falta de cumplimiento de estos requisites serd repercutdo al Proveedor. 8 TIPOS DE EMBALAJE De modo genética se definen a continuacién los pos de embaiaje utizables. B.1.daulas y cajas de madera 8.1.1. Materiales Los embalajes deben fabricarse con madera de buena calidad, on humedad relatva inferior al 20% y tratada segon norma IPPC: ISPMANIME-15, El tabloro seré resistente al agua y a la humedad, tipo muiicapa y fendtco. La calidad del tablero seré CCX, CDX u otra comparable. En el caso de tablero OSS las referencias son OSB/3 0 OSBI4 de ‘acuerdo can los estandares intemacionales, Las léminas de poletisno mirimo de 0,12mm vil 8105. En general las bases se fjarén al patin 7 DANGEROUS GOODS: Dangerous goods shall be packed according to the specifications ofthe International Marte Organization (IMO), international Air Transport Association (IATA) andlor treaty ADR, as applicable Ifthe Supplier's scope includes any dangerous goods by any of the above mentioned entities. itis the responsibilty of the supper to ensure that hazardous matetals are. packed and marked in ‘accordance withthe specications ofthese organizations, Chemical products and hazardous materials must always be identified by their corresponding Materal Safety Oata Sheet (MSDS). These Data Sheets must contain all the pertinent Infomation about the product, the protection and the required ‘measures for handling and transportation. Besides, the data sheet ‘must specify the UN Code, secondary isks and the packing group ‘cording o IMOGIIATA/ADR regulations This type of goods must be identiiad on a diferent Packing List separated form non-hazardous goods. Supplier shal also observe the shipping agency requirements to transport the goods and will also be responsible of providing the "Dangerous Goods Declaration’ ‘Any costs resulting from the lack of compliance with these requirements willbe charged on the supoter. 8 TYPES OF PACKING In general the folowing types of packing shall be ulized: 8.1, Wooden cases and crates 8.1.1, Materials The wood used for packing shall be of good qualty, relative humidity < 20% and treated as per IPPC-ASPNENIME-15 standard ‘The plywood shall be water and moisture proof, muit-ayer type, with phenolic glue, Plywood shall meet CCX, COX or similar quality. For OSB board the references are OSB/3 or OSB/4 in ‘ccardanee with inlernational standards, Polyethylene sheets minimum thickness of 012mm st 8108. ‘Aluminium barier in accordance with MIL-B131 and Intemational stancards, Use of paper, sawdust, straw as filer hygroscopic material is forbidden 8.1.2 Constructive characteristics ‘The faecal walls and td of erates and cases (see figures In annex. 10.1) wil be equipped with crossbeams or headers that wil seve as a structure forthe fixing ofthe boards, Width of the wooden boards for side wal's and ids wil be betwaen 420 and 250mm.
