Because of the dynamic changes in the battlefield, the threats of global terrorism and the demanding combat situations, there was a need for a versatile, innovative, and highly technologically advanced weapon. The most suitable and effective weapon was created to answer these adversities - The Tavor Assault Rifle. The Tavor Assault Rifle was developed in close cooperation with Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The Tavor is the service weapon of the IDF infantry troops as well as in other countries throughout the world. Moreover, the Tavor features a Bull-pup configuration, fires NATO 5.56 mm ammunition, combines a body made of composite materials with an advanced mechanical system, a floating barrel and unique optical systems. It is characterized by its high precision and reliability. The Tavor is a platform that comprises optics and other accessories thus distinguishing itself as the ultimate weapon of the XXI century.
