The Weekend Program at Happy Hills Resort!

We hope you are all recuperated after the long weekend because we have another jam packed weekend planned for you at Happy Hills! Things kick off on Friday with our Outdoor Cinema playing a great family flick. On Saturday the Lifeguards will be bringing you Chocolate Bar Bingo- don't miss this chance to win some sweet treats! Sunday is the Adult Mixed Golf Scramble and if you would like to participate in this event please sign up at the Par-Tee Shack before noon on Saturday. Please remember that the golf course will be closed Sunday morning until approximately 11:00am for those not participating in the scramble! Thank you to all the volunteers who helped make the Civic Long weekend such a spectacular time! Special thanks goes to Kevin Dartch and his crew for organizing and facilitating the Flea Market. The $260.00 from the sale of tables for this event will be donated to the Embro Fire Department. We would also like to thank Eddie Jacobs for organizing both the Adult and Staff vs. Campers horseshoe tournaments, thank you to Scott Wood and the Dance Committee for organizing the Adult Dance and Stew and the Bingo crew for Family Bingo! Congratulations to Don Draper on site 41 who was the winner of the BBQ and to Melissa Roberts who won the 50/50! The Draw to win a Complimentary 2011 Seasonal Site will take place at the Adult Dance on Saturday September 3 rd. Tickets are now available and can be purchased for the low price of $2.00 a ticket from the store or any dance committee member. Susan Wigan for lot 319 would like to thank everyone who supported her Avon Clearance sale. $152.00 was raised for the Children's Hospital in London. Next weekend is also going to be a busy one. It is the weekend you have all been waiting for- Halloween Weekend! Friday starts off the weekend with the Halloween Party for kids 12 years and younger. Saturday is the Corn Roast and Trick or Treating for kids 12 years and younger. Adult Coffee Hour and an afternoon of scrapbooking will be held on Sunday. Just a reminder that the theme for this year's Annual Parade of All Ages is Movies! You can be quite creative with this theme so put your thinking caps on and start building those floats! On August 26th, we are hosting our first Happy Hills Red Carpet Gala for children 12 years of age and younger. Dress like your favourite famous person and walk the walk on the "Red Carpet"!

As well, during Adult swim there are to be no children in the pool, hot tubs or on the deck. Adult swim is for campers 18years of age and older and we appreciate that you follow these rules! Children under the age of 6 are prohibited from entering the hot tubs. On the same note, children are not allowed in the Adult Hot Tub at anytime. If you have questions or concerns regarding the pool or hot tubs, the office will be happy to address them. Thank you!
