Sri Vast International Foundation runs retreats and educational programs in this lush Tuscan paradise with olive groves, fruit orchards and vineyards. The Villa is located about 45 minutes from Pisa airport and is 20 minutes from the historical city of Lucca. Participants stay in the beautiful 18th century Villa on this luxuriant estate in single or shared accommodation with three delicious internationally inspired meals per day. The heated swimming pool is available for a relaxing bathe between classes.

Flight and Train Connection

The ideal airport is Pisa or Florence. The best way to continue your journey is by train. In Lucca you have an easy connection to Ponte a Moriano, which is only 5 minutes drive from the Center. Many trains from Pisa do stop in Ponte a Moriano. We are happy to send you more information regarding train tables. There is the possibility for a pick up at the trainstation in Ponte a Moriano. Please inform us in advance regarding your arrival.

Directions from Lucca to the Center

Please contact us for carpool possibility from Germany, Switzerland, Spain, etc. Exit Lucca Est (East). After the Toll Plaza you will come to a stop sign. Turn left to Lucca centro and the SS-12 Abetone. Go through a set of traffic lights and cross over the bridge. When you reach the roundabout head left in the direction of SS-12 Abetone. You are now on the circumnavigation road around Lucca and should be able to see the City Walls. The Center is located a short way up the hills above the town of Ponte a Moriano approx 10 km North of Lucca off the road SS-12 to Abetone. Follow the Lucca circumnavigation road in the direction of signs to SS-12 Abetone. Head towards Abetone,on the Via Civilale. At this point you will leave the walls of Lucca. Follow this road,which becomes the Via Brennero,for about 6 km towards Abetone. You will come to a large roundabout with a large Supermarket (Esselunga).Take the exit for Ponte a Moriano. Keep going straight ahead for about 1 km and after passing Rebecca and entering Ponte a Moriano look for an ice cream shop with umbrellas on your left, take the immediate right turn opposite the icecream shop and you will see a small town square with car parking on the left. Keep going straight along this street over a train crossing until you come to a stop sign. Follow the blue signs in the direction of Tramonte and Palmata. Shortly you will see another sign to Tramonte and Convento dellAngelo. Follow this road a few hundred yards to the Center. The road climbs and there is a tight curve to the right that follows the tall wall of the Center on the left. The road curves sharply to your left and immediately thereafter there is a gray wrought iron gate, Via Tramonte 375 and an drive way leading past a three story red house( The Boccellina). This drive way is the entrance to Center.

Directions from Pisa Airport to Lucca

Follow the green signs towards Autostrada A-12 / Genova-Livorno. Take A-12 North towards Genova. At the Pisa Nord follow signs to Autostrada A-11 Firenze. Follow the highway for about 16 Km and exit Lucca Est (East). After the Toll Plaza you will come to a stop sign. Turn left to Lucca centro and the SS12 Abetone. Go through a set of traffic lights and cross over the bridge. When you reach the roundabout head left in the direction of SS-12 Abetone. You are now on the circumnavigation road around Lucca and should be able to see the City Walls.

Directions from Florence to Lucca

The Florence Airport is located in the north of Florence, at the interchange with Autostrada 1 ( Roma Bologna Milano ), follow the green Autostrada signs to A-11 West in the direction Pisa Nord / Viareggio. If you are coming from inside Florence follow the direction of Autostrada A-11. After 60 Km exit the Lucca Est / SS-12 Abetone). After leaving the Toll Plaza you will come to a stop sign. Follow the signs to Lucca Centro and SS -12 Abetone. You will drive through some traffic light and cross a bridge. At a roundabout head left in the direction of SS-12 Abetone. You are now on the circumnavigation road of Lucca and should be able to see the walls of the city.

Directions from Lucca to the Center
