New Delhi embraces the full breadth of modern life science activity and conducts both basic and applied research in selected areas of modern Molecular Biology and Biotechnology. Dr. Prem P. New Delhi research directions are accomplished through the use of model organisms and can be categorized in a number of horizontal activities: Hypothesis driven research: Mechanisms and regulation of gene expression Cellular Integration Proteomics Post genomics Biosensors Tools for functional genomics Products & Services: Nucleic Acid , Enzymes, Proteins and Fermentation Dr. Prem P. Jauhar Molecular Biology Lab permits students at the M.Sc., B.tech, M.Phil and M.Tech levels to carry out dissertation and project work in various disciplines. Training program enabling you to join active research groups focusing on plant genetic engineering, molecular biology, molecular markers, membrane biophysics, proteomics, microbe interactions, Molecular Immunology, transcriptomics and bioinformatics. Research topics will be interdisciplinary, including at least two different areas of work. Projects and dissertations may be for 1 month, 2-3 months, 4-6 months or 7-12 months. A service fee is charged from trainees to cover the costs of the training. The fee structure is given below: Duration of Dissertation/Project Fee (Rs.) 1 month (Rs.) 10,000, 2-3 months (Rs.) 20,000, 4-6 months (Rs.) 30,000, and 712 months (Rs.) 50,000 Short-Term Group Training: Specialized ProgramA two to three week structured group training program will be organized periodically anytime of the year for regular staff of corporate and other Universities. The selection of corporate and NGO candidates for training will be solely at the discretion of the selection committee. International training: Dr. Prem P. Jauhar Molecular Biology Labs New Delhi will also offer training to overseas candidates. The terms and conditions of this training will be as per Labs guidelines and instructions.
