Client: Origin Energy Retail Transformation Company: Wipro Technologies, Pune Duration: July 2010 Present Designation: SAP BW Consultant Platform & Skills: SAP BW 7.0, SAP ECC6.0 , Oracle10g, Windows XP Brief: Origin is a leading producer of gas in eastern Australia, is the largest owner and developer of gas-fired electricity generation in Australia and is a leading wholesaler and retailer of energy. Approximately 2.8 Million customers will be migrated from billing systems such as CIS/OV, MOE and Gentrack and front office systems such as Siebel into an integrated SAP IS-U and CRM solution. It is largely a consulting project to determine a strategy to differentiate Origin from its competitors It is a complete implementation for all Metered Products including Gas, Electricity, Hot Water and Reticulated LPG. Technical Highlights: This includes the Level 3 process designs to support SAP implementation providing our customers with the ability to manage their relationship with Origin. Responsibilities and contributions: My responsibilities include: Involved in Design, Development and implementation of BW using Extended Star schema. Identifying the Key Figures, Strong Entities and attributes involved in star schema design with multiple dimensions and fact tables. Uploaded master data and transaction data from flat file and SAP system to BW system. Analysed and activated relevant Business Content and set SAP system , Flat File and BW as source systems. Worked on performance related issues by creating Aggregates ,Partitioning and Compression etc. Created custom info Object, Info Sources and custom reports using Business Explorer(BEx) to give detailed level of information from queries based on ODS and infocube. Configured the use of Exceptions, Filters, Conditions, Structure, Variables, Restricted and Calculated Key Figure. Performed data extraction from R/3 (LO Extraction ) and Flat Files. Worked on job schedules for loading data and monitoring process chains to run periodic loads and other processes Created Multiproviders to enhance the reporting base.
