WORDS OF ASSURANCE Leader: Hear the good news: Christ died for us while we were yet sinners; that proves Gods love toward us. In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. People: In the name of Jesus Christ, you are forgiven. All: Glory to God. Amen.

WE PRAY FOR OTHERS You are invited to speak the names of those you wish to pray for. The congregation will respond: Lord, hear our prayer. After the prayers have been lifted, we will pray together the Lords Prayer: Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. OFFERING OUR GIFTS AND PRAYERS A SONG OF PRAISE TO GOD UMH #94

Media Coordinator, Summer Kaylor, is seeking additional volunteers to operate the media equipment on Sunday mornings. If you use e-mail and Word documents, you can handle the media system. It is a volunteer system and needs several members who will commit, since no member can commit to do it every Sunday. Summer is happy to provide training; please contact her at sjkaylor@austin.rr.com or 653-9244.

The main reason [I take my son to church] is that I want to give him a path and a light to see by. Most of the people I know who have what I wantwhich is to say, purpose, heart, balance, gratitude, joyare people with a deep sense of spirituality. They are people in community, who pray, who practice their faith. They follow a brighter light than the glimmer of their own candle. --Anne Lamott, Traveling Mercies
