SEGUNDO: Recuerdas como contestar una pregunta? Bueno, aqu vamos con un repaso. Qu hiciste t el verano pasado? (If your subject is T you will always answer with the Yo form of the verb) Yo pas el da con mis hijos y yo nad con la familia. The main core of your sentence will always be the subject and verb. The ending of your verb has to agree with the subject. Lets put it in mathematical terms. We will do the preterit endings. Verbos - ar Yo = T= aste ella= Nosotros = amos Vosotros= asteis ellos= aron Verbos er ir Yo = T = iste ella= i Nosotros= imos Vosotros=isteis ellos= ieron When you are writing a sentence you need to make sure the verb ending matches the subject, it has to agree. Yo habl is correct because yo = Ella hablaron is incorrecto because Ella = so it does not agree.

Van a hacer unas preguntas a sus compaeros. Necesitan escribir sus respuestas. Partner A asks: Qu hiciste t el verano pasado? Partner B answers: Yo habl con mis amigos todos los das. Partner A writes what partnerB did, but they will use he or she as a subject: l habl con sus amigos todos los das.
