CAESAR II Pipe STRESS ANALYSIS (IGTPS)

Course Length: 40 Hours.


This course is designed for almost anyone involved with piping in the petroleum, chemical, power, gas transmission, and related industries can benefit from this upto-date, information-packed short course, whether they use other pipe stress programs - or don't use any! Piping/Vessel Maintenance Engineers, Piping Designers, New & Experienced CAESAR II Users, Mechanical/Design Engineers, Engineering Managers, Plant Managers, and fresh graduate mechanical engineers who wants to become a piping engineer and who would like to pursue their career in Plant design industry specifically as a PIPE Stress Analyst. The course covers an overall knowledge about the role of Piping engineers and how piping engineers integrate into an engineering organization. The course also discusses about various industry codes which the piping engineer should be familiar with.

Prerequisites:
Drafting, design, or engineering experience is required. Basic Plant design/ engineering knowledge is required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2007. It is also recommended that you have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows XP, Microsoft Windows 2000, or Windows NT 4.0.

Codes of Practice: Mandatory Requirements & Legal Responsibilities Piping Systems: In-line Equipment, Supports, Boundary Conditions Flexibility Requirements, Local Flexibility of Nozzles Practical Applications Software/Hardware Requirements Introduction to CAESAR II: Static Analysis Static Analysis: Example 1 Expansion Loop Modeling Techniques, use of CAESAR II Main Features Static Analysis: Example 2 Pump Suction System Additional & Advanced CAESAR II Features Static Analysis: Example 3 Distillation Column Pipework WRC 297 Analysis, Static Wind Simulation Analysis Static Analysis: Example 4 Pump System Trouble Shooting Static Analysis: Example 5 Buried Pipe Modeling
