Course Description:

This five (5) unit course equips the IT student with the competencies that will allow effective and efficient use of personal computers where use of word processing,
spreadsheets and presentation software is required. It also includes competencies in quality standards, workplace communication, teamwork, career
professionalism, and safety.

Course Objectives:

Upon completion of this course, the student should be able to:

• Create documents from simple letterheads and envelopes to custom Web Pages.
• Create spreadsheets from simple checkbooks to price sheets, market forecast and scenarios
• Create examples of colorful, animated slideshows.
• Operate a word processing application
• Operate a spreadsheet application
• Operate a presentation software package
