 Develop procedures, calculations, drawings and analysis for work.

 Design, check and/or supervise the design of installation aids and other equipment required for
use offshore.
 Carry out the supervision of this through to fabrication and delivery, ensuring compliance with
the overall project quality plan and company processes.
 Witness directly or liaise with company inspectors to ensure that suitable contractual activities
such as load test, trial fits, are being carried out in accordance with minimum requirements.
 Be accountable for engineering analysis of tasks relating to installation, to ensure the
structural/operational integrity of the equipment during installation.
 Select suitable equipment to perform operational tasks offshore and prepare MTO.
 Liaise with vessel departments and third party contractors to ensure all equipment is fit for
purpose and fully compatible with offshore worksite.
 Prepare Final As-Built report after project completion with high level of dynamic/flash reports.

Offshore

 Assist with the mobilization/demobilization of the vessels and ensure that everyone involved is
aware of all safety and technical aspects of the mob/demobilization.
 Provide technical briefings to offshore personnel ensuring that the overall working and safety
philosophy of the project is fully understood by offshore personnel.
 Issue procedures and task plans ensuring that all relevant safety and quality issues are
included.
 Provide technical assistance to all offshore personnel to permit work to be implemented in
accordance with approved procedures.
 Assist the Field Engineer and Offshore Manager with the management of all project-specific
third-party contractors confirming all technical & operational aspects of the contract are
observed.

GULMAR OFFSHORE MIDDLE EAST. (Sharjah, UAE) — Design, Lead Fabrication & Construction
Engineer, July 2001 to 27th Jan 2011:

o 01/2010 to 05/2010 ( Design, Lead Fabrication & Construction Engineer) 4‖ Spools & new Riser
Installations, at SPD8 platform in Iran, South Pars Gas field for Statoil

Onshore Responsibilities:
 Design the new 4‖ Riser installation tools and related equipments to be installed on SPD8
platform.
 Platform Site visit to insure design fit of purposes.
 Lead and control all subcontractor related to spool fabrication, coating, hydro testing at MIS
yard at sharjah Khalid port, as well as the Third Party Inspection (ND).
 Spool s Transportation and delivery to DSV
Offshore Responsibilities:
 Company rep on the DSV for platform topside section, leading all related works of the new
Riser installation, Fabrication, Coating and Hydro testing.
 DPR’s, Task Plans, Work Permits, reports to my Head Dept and PM.
 Leading all subcontractors on board DSV.
 Mob & Demob arrangement and sea fastening.

o 04/2009 to 08/2009 ( Design, Lead Fabrication & Construction Engineer) Fabrication and
Installation of 32‖ dropout spool, closing spool after metrology, 4‖ spools at SPD8 platform in
Iran, South Pars Gas field for Statoil-Hydro
Onshore Responsibilities:
 Support the Installation Aids Design Team, design, fabrication and following spec’s and
schedule.
 Assigned as Fabrication Manager following all fabrications related to the 32‖ & 4‖ Spools at
MIS yard at Sharjah Khalid Port, as well as the Third Party Inspection
(ND Abu Dhabi)
 Lead and control other subcontractors related to spool fabrication ( APS for coating, Rouge
for Hydro testing )
