INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place all ingredients (except sunflow er seeds) in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by
the manufacturer. Select basic w hite cycle; press start. Add the sunflow er seeds w hen the alert sounds
during the knead cycle.

"Vanilla pudding mix in the yeast dough gives a sw eet, distinctive taste to these bread machine rolls oozing w ith

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup milk 4 tablespoons w ater
1 egg, beaten 1/2 (3.5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
4 tablespoons melted butter 4 cups bread flour

1/2 teaspoon salt 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
2 1/4 teaspoons bread machine yeast 1 teaspoon milk
1/2 cup butter, softened 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1 cup packed brow n sugar 4 tablespoons butter, softened
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a bread machine pan, place the milk, beaten egg, melted butter, w ater, vanilla pudding mix, bread flour,
sugar, salt and yeast in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select the Dough cycle.
2. When cycle is finished, remove the dough, and knead for 3 to 5 minutes. Roll out to a large rectangle.
3. Mix together the softened butter, brow n sugar and cinnamon. Spread over dough. Sprinkle w ith chopped
w alnuts and raisins, if desired. Starting w ith the w idest end, roll the dough into a log. Pinch to seal seams. Cut
into 1/2 inch to 1 inch slices, and place in a greased 9x13 inch pan. Place in a draft-free space, and allow to
rise until doubled.

"This is a family favorite made easy. Preparing the dough in a bread machine saves time kneading the dough by
hand. My grandmother used to make these w hen w e w ould visit. Now I can make them for her."
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 cups w arm w ater 1 egg yolk
1/2 cup butter, softened 1/3 cup milk pow der
1 egg 1/4 cup instant mashed potato flakes

1/4 cup w hite sugar 1 (12 ounce) can cherry pie filling
1 teaspoon salt 1 (12 ounce) can poppyseed filling
3 7/8 cups bread flour 1/4 cup butter, melted
2 teaspoons active dry yeast
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place w ater, softened butter, egg, egg yolk, milk pow der, potato flakes, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in the pan
of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough cycle; press Start. Check
dough after 5 minutes of mixing, adding 1 to 2 tablespoons of w ater if necessary.
2. When the cycle is complete, spoon out dough w ith tablespoon and roll into w alnut sized balls. Place 2 inches
apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 1 hour.
3. Flatten balls slightly w ith the palm of your and make a depression in center w ith your thumb. Fill w ith 1
tablespoon of filling. Cover and let rise for about 30 minutes. Meanw hile, preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190
degrees C).
4. Bake in preheated oven for 13 to 15 minutes, until lightly brow ned. Remove from oven and brush w ith melted
butter. Cool on w ire rack.

"Save yourself a lot of money by making your ow n homemade cinnamon rolls! The dough is made in the bread
machine and everything else is done by hand."
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup w arm milk (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) 4 1/2 cups bread flour
2 eggs, room temperature 1 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup margarine, melted 1/2 cup w hite sugar

2 1/2 teaspoons bread machine yeast 1 (3 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 cup brow n sugar, packed 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
2 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup butter, softened 1/8 teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS:
1. Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select
dough cycle; press Start.
2. After the dough has doubled in size turn it out onto a lightly floured surface, cover and let rest for 10 minutes.
In a small bow l, combine brow n sugar and cinnamon.
3. Roll dough into a 16x21 inch rectangle. Spread dough w ith 1/3 cup butter and sprinkle evenly w ith
sugar/cinnamon mixture. Roll up dough and cut into 12 rolls. Place rolls in a lightly greased 9x13 inch baking
pan. Cover and let rise until nearly doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanw hile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200
degrees C).

INGREDIENTS:
1/2 cup w arm w ater (110 degrees F/45 degrees C) 1/3 cup w hite sugar

1 egg 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup butter, softened 1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast

DIRECTIONS:
1. Place w ater, milk, egg, 1/3 cup butter, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order
recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough/Knead and First Rise Cycle; press Start.
2. When cycle finishes, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide dough in half. Roll each half into a 12
inch circle, spread 1/4 cup softened butter over entire round. Cut each circle into 8 w edges. Roll w edges
starting at w ide end; roll gently but tightly. Place point side dow n on ungreased cookie sheet. Cover w ith clean
kitchen tow el and put in a w arm place, let rise 1 hour. Meanw hile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200
degrees C).

"Debbie Leonard of Roseburg, Oregon uses her bread machine to stir up the dough for these lovely golden
dinner rolls. They're tender, fluffy and delicious w hen eaten w arm from the oven."
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup w arm milk (70 to 80 degrees F) 2 eggs
1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup sugar 4 cups bread flour
INGREDIENTS: (continued)
2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast
DIRECTIONS:
1. In bread machine pan, place all ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough setting (check
dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of w ater or flour if needed).
2. When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide into 24 portions; shape into balls.
Place in a greased 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Cover and let rise in a w arm place for 15 minutes. Bake at
375 degrees F for 13-16 minutes or until golden brow n.

French Bread

"'My husband game me a bread machine for Christmas the year w e w ere married, and I use it about once a
w eek,' notes Janet Vink from Geneseo, Illinois. 'We like slices of this bread w ith a spaghetti dinner and often use
the leftovers for French toast.'"
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/4 cups w ater (70 to 80 degrees F) 1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons sugar 3 1/2 cups bread flour
INGREDIENTS: (continued)
1 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast 1 egg
1 tablespoon cornmeal 1 tablespoon w ater
GLAZE: 2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
DIRECTIONS:
1. In bread machine pan, place the first five ingredients in the order suggested by the manufacturer. Select
dough setting (check dough after 5 minutes of mixing; add 1 to 2 tablespoons of w ater or flour if needed).
2. When cycle is completed, turn dough onto a lightly floured surface. Divide in half. Roll each portion into a 10-in.
x 8-in. rectangle. Roll up jelly-roll style, starting w ith a long side; pinch seams to seal.
3. Sprinkle a greased baking sheet w ith cornmeal; place loaves seam side dow n on prepared pan. Cover and let
rise in a w arm place until doubled, about 20 minutes.
4. Whisk egg and w ater; brush over loaves. With a sharp knife, make four shallow slashes across the top of
each loaf. Sprinkle w ith sesame seeds if desired. Bake at 375 degrees F for 20-25 minutes or until golden
brow n. Cool on w ire racks.

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup w arm milk (70 to 80 degrees F) 2 eggs
1/4 cup w ater (70 to 80 degrees F) 1/4 cup butter or margarine, softened

DIRECTIONS:
1. In bread machine pan, place the first eight ingredients in order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough

"Infused w ith cardamom spice, these taste as w onderful as they smell. These buns are requested by family and
friends every Easter and they are easy to make in your bread machine!"
INGREDIENTS:
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast 1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup w ater 1/2 cup w hite sugar
4 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon ground cardamom

1 1/4 cups lukew arm milk 1/4 cup dried cranberries (optional)
1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg 2 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
1/4 cup golden raisins (optional) 1/4 cup milk
1/4 cup dried cherries (optional) 1 teaspoon almond extract
DIRECTIONS:
1. Sprinkle the yeast over the w arm w ater and let stand until dissolved, about 5 minutes. Place the flour, salt,
sugar, cardamom, 1 1/4 cups of milk, butter and egg into the bread machine. Pour the yeast mixture on top.
Close the lid and set the machine for the Dough setting. If using raisins, dried cherries or dried cranberries,
add them at the beep.
2. When the dough has finished, divide into 12 portions and shape into balls. Place them into a greased 9x13 inch
baking dish. Cover w ith plastic w rap and set aside to rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Remove the plastic w rap from the rolls. Bake in the
preheated oven until golden brow n, 20 to 25 minutes. Make frosting by w hisking together the confectioners'
sugar, 1/4 cup of milk and almond extract until smooth. When the buns are cool, drizzle frosting over them in
