(Specialized in helping physicians manage the intersection of health regulatory and medical business issues with the professional implications of personal lega l issues; additional work in Family and Estate Law geared to Physician needs) No history of disciplinary action by state legal and medical boards or any medic al staff. A few years ago, I was erroneously listed in a West Virginia press re lease as having been cited by the State Medical Board in the early 80s. I canno t recall all the details but I believe this may have involved my resignation at a hospital to simply move to a job in another state, so I did not renew my WV li cense. The WV State Board initially interpreted this as a surrender of staff pr ivileges and my WV license. The National Practitioner Data Bank had many years previously directed WV to not treat matters such as this as requiring a report. Illinois Dept of Registration & Education has been notified of my physical disab ility to practice Emergency Medicine. I have had 3 knee replacement surgeries. I have no physical limitations regarding administrative duties or other medical practice. 1/11/11
