Training and Development

Recruiting and Hiring
Recruited qualified applicants for professional and executive positions within
the business line using appropriate resources. This included identifying and u
tilizing the most efficient sources and technologies available in order to secur
e qualified applicants for employment as well as establishing and maintaining co
ntact with external recruitment sources and representing company at relative job
fairs and colleges and universities
Handled offers of employment including contacting candidates and negotiating al
l aspects of the offer on behalf of the business line.
Diversity Initiatives
Represented Chase to First State projects with Industry in preparing persons wi
th wide diversity of both physical and mental disabilities for entrance into the
work force. Conducted mock interviews, offered constructive feed-back, recomme
nded steps for improvement and suggested corporate placement opportunities.
Founded Delaware Diversity Council for Chase Manhattan Banks Wilmington, Delawa
re site. Among many projects completed under the auspices of this council, cr
eated the first PRIMETIME Networking group.
Represented JPMorgan Chase and taught class in basic finances for Junior Achiev
ement at Newark High School, and performed numerous community service projects f
or JPMorgan Chase.
