Asset Project Manager for Recovery Asset Contractor to the Division of Resolutio
ns and Receiverships of the FDIC: Project involved working major real estate a
ssets retained by the FDIC as Receiver for closed banks to maximize recovery of
funds to the FDIC. Determine courses of action for disposition of assets. Work
with account principals to achieve disposition plan. Expedite process to meet t
ime lines established by Receivership.
Portfolio Due Diligence:
Assessment of real estate lending program strategic plan: review rationale for
originated loans, especially recently modified or refinanced loans and the
economic purpose thereof.
Review underwriting analysis for reasonableness of conclusions, consistency and
completeness.
Analysis of file documents and related items for completeness to include: loan
documents; and security; guaranty, notes, formation, construction contracts,
budgets agreements.
Determine enforcement of documentation for conditions precedent, representation
s and warranties and events of default.
Determine if events of default and remedies protect institution's interests
Ascertain if final loan documentation follows original loan approval.
Review file for original signed documents.
Determine appraisal report inconsistencies; need for updates; EVA reports.
Determine compliance with lending credit policies, procedures and agency regula
tions.
Report any suspicious activity to appropriate investigative team.
