Credit Limit
A nominal Credit Limit plus an allowance set by SMART controls the total amount of charges that you are allowed to incur within a billing period. When your nominal Credit Limit is
exceeded, service may be subjected to Redirection at any point in the billing period. SMART may modify your Credit Limit from time to time and send a notification to inform you of
such changes. You may also request for a change in your Credit Limit, subject to approval of SMART.
Payment Due Date
The Remaining "Balance from Previous Bill" is considered an "overdue" balance and must be fully paid immediately to avoid Redirection or Disconnection. The "Total Current Bill
Charges" must be fully paid on or before the Due Date indicated in your Statement of Account.
Redirection
Redirection is designed to help you manage your account balance and assist you with billing pr payment-related concerns. When your service is subjected to Redirection,
outbound call attempts will be forwarded to SMART, which provides an option for you to speak with an Account Officer. Meanwhile, your inbound service is active (e.g. you may
still receive inbound calls, SMS, MMS and pre-enrolled Value-Added Services, etc.), while all other services (e.g. outbound calls, SMS, MMS, Value-Added Services, all
International Roaming services, etc.) are barred. Monthly Service Fees and Pre-enrolled Value-Added Service charges are billable even during the Redirection period.
Disconnection
Disconnection is the total barring of services for overdue accounts or such other cases as may be determined by SMART. Accounts with unpaid balances may be endorsed to a
collection agency/lawyer and charged with interest, collection/litigation fees and applicable pre-termination fees.
Lifting of Redirection or Reconnection of Service
Lifting of Redirection or Reconnection of service happens after receipt of the required amount of payment and posting to your account. You may also request for Lifting of
Redirection or Reconnection of service by calling (02) 6728888 using a landline phone or *6888 (toll-free) using Smart Postpaid cellphone or by logging on the Web Connect at
www.smart.com.ph (requires pre-registration) or by visiting any of our SMART Wireless Centers nationwide.
Questions About Your Bill
Please examine the charges posted in your Statement of Account. In case you have any question, please call our Customer Care Hotline at (02) 8881111 using a landline or
toll-free at *888 using your cellphone, or log-on to Web Connect at www.smart.com.ph or visit any of our SMART Wireless Centers nationwide. Your Statement of Account is
considered correct and binding after twenty-one (21) days from Statement Date in the event that we do not receive any question regarding your bill.
You may settle your SMART bills at any authorized banks and payment centers nationwide. Sales persons are not authorized to receive payments for your monthly bills. SMART
is not obliged to honor, and shall not be held liable for any uncredited / unposted payment made to Sales person. Posting of payments made through banks, ATMs, internet
banking, mobile banking, phonebanking and accredited payment centers is on the next business day, subject to applicable cut-off schedule.
