PROFESSIONAL
PROFILE Mr. Traxler is currently with JDT Corporation a full service
2002 - Current environmental engineering and consulting firm.
Responsibilities include; management and coordination of projects to
assure consistent, cost effective and timely solutions to a variety of
air, soil and groundwater problems. Typical projects include remedial
investigations, feasibility studies, remedial action engineering
designs, soils and groundwater treatment system construction.
Responsibilities also include; interfacing with regulatory and
governmental agencies, clients and contractors regarding technical and
fiscal aspects of each project.

1989 - 2002 Before JDT Corporation, Mr. Traxler was employed by a

large environmental and engineering company as Operations Manager of
the Pensacola, Florida and Birmingham, Alabama offices.
Responsibilities included managing geological, engineering,
construction, technical and administrative staff regarding daily
operations, personnel coordination, project oversight, technical and
financial review.
1986 - 1989 Previous management positions were with; a Consulting
Civil Engineers and a Groundwater Consulting Company.
PROJECT
EXPERIENCE
Directed or managed the investigation of more than 700 soil and
groundwater assessments at fueling, chemical/petroleum bulk storage,
industrial and military facilities across the Southern United States.
Projects ranged from small investigations to multi million dollar
remediation programs. Investigations evaluated a wide variety of
organic and inorganic substances. The results of many led to the
engineering design and construction of recovery/aquifer treatment
systems including; in situ and above ground biological treatment,
steam injection, thermal treatment, ultra violet/ozone, bioreactor,
air sparging, air stripping and excavation. Project management
included; customer, regulatory and subcontractor interaction, project
team coordination, project budgeting and job cost tracking.
Construction aspects included; subcontracting, procurement, permitting
(local, state, federal, regulatory, construction, electrical,
plumbing, drilling), soil excavation and disposal projects up to
30,000 yards, utility and road removal and replacement, impact plans
and health and safety planning.
Site Assessment and Remediation
Design and implementation of risk and toxicity assessments, property
transfer environmental audits, complete subsurface investigations for
assessment of
environmental contamination and subsequent remedial designs of
fueling, bulk storage, industrial, solid waste facilities, EPA
superfund sites and Department of Defense facilities. Assistance in
the design, permitting and construction of solid waste facilities.

Chemical and Solvents Distribution Facility
Designed and implemented a comprehensive hydrogeological investigation
and engineering remedial action plan to limit migration of separate
phase light non- aqueous phase liquid, dense non-aqueous phase liquid
contaminants and dissolved phase groundwater contamination.
Engineering design, construction management and subsequent recovery of
chlorinated and petroleum hydrocarbons with a system of subsurface
hydraulic control techniques and treatment of water and air emissions
to meet state guidelines. The program included investigation,
engineering, construction, permitting and management aspects of site
restoration.
Industrial Manufacturing Facility
Conducted subsurface investigation and subsequent excavation and
disposal of PCB at manufacturing facility. Project included design of
field program including gas chromatograph screening, health and safety
planning and regulatory interaction.
Utility Company
Completed engineering design and implementation of groundwater
restoration program. Remediation construction included excavation of
approximately 3000 yards of diesel contaminated soil and the
installation of a groundwater and product recovery system. Groundwater
treatment included the installation of 59 air sparging and steam
injection points. Vapor extraction was completed utilizing five,
directionally drilled, 350 foot horizontal vapor extraction wells.
Lead Smelting and Refining Plant
Completed engineering design and installation of system for the
recovery of groundwater impacted with lead and cadmium. Negotiated
recovery efforts under Site Hazardous Waste Permit with groundwater
disposal to site waste water treatment plant.
Permitting
Development, review and submittal of air and groundwater discharge,
NPDES and state air quality permits for various remediation techniques
employed at chemical and petroleum contaminated sites.
