PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Global Supply Chain Business Analyst (Warehouse Processes) (2002 - 2010)
International Paper Company (Memphis, TN.)
Worked in all phases of an eight-year supply chain initiative to replace a legac
y supply chain model with an improved operating model (Focus on Warehouse proces
ses).
* Designed and implemented standard warehouse business processes and technology
involving inventory receiving, storing, staging, shipping, and reporting for imp
roved and consistent warehouse processes in 25 manufacturing and converting faci
lities over a five-year period. Activities included:
o conducting gap analysis and designing new processes
o training end users on the new processes, systems, and equipment
o implementing/installing new processes, systems, and equipment (go lives)
o tracking performance post implementation.
* Continued work as a warehouse business analyst employed to build SAP IM/WM pro
cesses for IP's manufacturing and Regional Distribution Centers for the entire S
ystem Development Life Cycle. Activities included:
o acquiring facility requirements and translating them into design documents
o working with IT resources to build and/or modify existing SAP IM/WM functional
ity to fit the requirements
o writing end user work step instructions and user procedures
o prototype testing the new functionality
o implementation of these new processes (go lives)
Production, Shipping, and Inventory Software Specialist (2001-2002)
International Paper Company (Memphis, TN.)
Coordinated software implementation efforts between corporate Information Techno
logy group, Customer Service Teams, and eight International Paper manufacturing
facilities over a 17-month period.
* Trained eight facility end-users on International Paper's order entry and prod
uction tracking (OE&PT) software, which replaced former Union Camp and Champion
legacy software.
* Defined and documented manual work-arounds for the facilities to bridge gaps b
etween legacy and replacement OE&PT software.
* Designed work processes to best-fit OE&PT software applications.
