1. Btech Project Developing of “WildCense” – A GPS Based Wildlife Tracking &
habitat Monitoring System

Abstract: This is a complete wildlife Tracking and habitat monitoring solution

developed for WII (Wildlife Institution India) and is a completely funded
project. This project used the ideas of wireless sensor networks and
Embedded Systems Programming. Was the designer of the complete
system. Interfaced GPS-PA6B(GPS Receiver) , Temperature & Humidity
Sensor(SHT – 11), Accelerometer (MMA7660) , Data flash (AT45DB161B)
with the ZigBit (Atmega 128 with RF Transceiver) using the Bitcloud Stack
which further uses the ZigBee protocol with IEEE 802.15.4 as the MAC
layer. Also Developed protocol for peer – peer communication between the
nodes. Finally Designed the complete PCB for the device.

2. Research Internship Semantic Web – Query Optimization using SparQL and Web redesign
using RDF

Mentor: Prof. PM Jat

Abstract: Modern day Web with semantic web capabilities with the aim of speeding
up the queries. By incorporating RDF techniques and optimizing queries
with SparQL and also modifying the data storage format by revolutionizing
to XML as web 2.0 technologies. A small Query engine based on SparQL
was developed as part of the project.

Abstract: A complete end to end system for handling all issues related to
commonwealth games like Transport & Logistic Management , Ticket
Booking Issued, Media management, Travelling issues ( a kind of
travelling guide for the spectators) were handled by the end –to end
device developed which included a Desktop application (in C#) , Mobile
Ticket Booking App (J2ME), Website (Joomla, PHP , MYSQL , AJAX ,
JQuery , Google Maps API)

2 Help Tool For old Age People (Mobile Platform – Android) (Winter 2010) – Embedded Systems

Abstract: Making an Old Age home application interface based on the Android
platform with touch and automatic sensing capabilities and integrating the
Microcontroller (Atmel AVR) with the Android interface. Used Atmel
AVR32 for the interfacing. Used the Heart rate sensor and designed a
Face calling application in Android.

3 Database Design for a Multiplex Ticket Booking System (Autumn 2009) – Database Systems

Abstract: Designed a new database that provides a secure database for a Multiplex
ticket Booking Provider. Oracle 10g was used as the platform.

 Won the Team Twister event in Synapse 2010 (DA-IICT Cultural-Tech Fest)
 Played for the Gujarat District Level T.T Championships held in Baroda [2004] from Navarachana School
Baroda.
 Was selected for Bournvita Quiz Contest Baroda Round. [2004].
 Participated in HackXploit 2010 session on Hacking.
 Participated in ESPN School QUIZ and reached the Gujarat Round [2004].

 Was coordinator for the Event Excogitate in Synapse 2010 – The annual Cultural- Technological Fest of DA-
