The Dallas Arboretum, a non-profit organization, is the largest Botanical Garden
in the nation with over 500,000 guests per year.
- Responsibilities across entire garden include: Implement marketing and public
relations strategies, development and facilitation of over 250 annual public eve
nts and concerts, vendor relations, customer service, concert ticket sales, and
direct staff and logistical management of festivals.
- Oversee customer service, festival operations, and emergency services for up t
o 30,000+ garden guests.
- Maintain and actively manage a network of performer and agency contacts.
- Supervise planning, installation, and maintenance of public exhibits.
- Act as liaison for 5 marketing department committees. Manage the public events
budget, including entertainment, security, police officers, parking services, e
quipment rentals, and assistant facilitators.
- Supervise and train marketing interns, event assistants, and event volunteers.
- Formulate daily calculations of concert ticket sales in conjunction with weekl
y revenue goals.
- Write and edit information for the website, press releases, newsletters and ga
rden guides.
- Collaborate with communications on brand building strategies and advertising e
