    SPECIAL EVENT REMINDERS
    PLACE: DISCOVERY COVE AT SEAW ORLD
     PARENTS – You may not cross the parking lot during pick up.
    TIME: MONDAY, MAY 23 THRU TUESDAY, MAY 24
    Use the designated crossing by the handicapped parking and
    EVENT: FIFTH GRADE FIELD TRIP
    Strobles building.
    SPECIAL EVENT
    PLACE: BASKETBALL COURT  Please make sure your child arrives at school on time. Tardy
    TIME: W EDNESDAY, MAY 25 students disrupt the entire class.
    EVENT: FIRST GRADE W ATER DAY  Please be sure to keep your contact information up to date. If your
    SPECIAL EVENT phone number changes please notify the front office.
    PLACE: LANDRY BUILDING  Students are encouraged to wear their MACS shirts on Fridays.

    EVENT: PTO MEETING Applications for 2011-2012
    SPECIAL EVENT
    We are currently accepting applications for the 2011-2012 school
    PLACE: KINDERGARTEN CLASSROOM year; this includes VPK. Applications are available on the website
    TIME: W EDNESDAY, MAY 25 AT 6:00 PM http://www.micanopyareaschool.org/new-student-application.html or
    EVENT: KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION in the front office.
    SPECIAL EVENT
    The VPK program is available to any child age four by Sept. 1. This
    PLACE: STROBLES BUILDING is a free program. We also offer an extended day program for a fee.
    TIME: W ED., MAY 25 & THURS., MAY 26 AT 8:45 Please see the front office if you have any questions.
    EVENT: FOURTH GRADE SKITS
    SPECIAL EVENT
    PLACE: STROBLES BUILDING
    Yearbooks
    TIME: W ED., MAY 25 & THURS., MAY 26 AT 10:00
    There has been a delay in the production of our yearbooks and they are
    EVENT: FIFTH GRADE PLAY not expected to arrive until the end of June. Next week Lifetouch is
    SPECIAL EVENT going to provide us with autograph pages for the students to sign and
    when the books arrive, the pages can be inserted into your child’s book.
    PLACE: MICANOPY CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP
    I will notify everyone via email when they arrive. Please make sure the
    TIME: FRIDAY, MAY 27 AT 9:30 A.M. school has your current email address.
    EVENT: FIFTH GRADE GRADUATION

    PTO Meeting

    The PTO will meet on Wednesday at 1:15. The purpose of this meeting is to elect officers for next year. Everyone is welcome.
    If you would like to be involved with the PTO next year please plan on attending this meeting or if you are unable to attend
    but would like to participate please notify the front office or email Michelle Stopford at macsvolunteers@gmail.com.

    Early Dismissal on Wednesdays


    School dismisses at 1:00 every Wednesday. After school care is available from Blue Wave for a fee.
