Resumen

La creciente región urbana y la necesidad de nuevas obras de ingeniería, mantenimiento

y reemplazo de la infraestructura que ha cumplido su tiempo de servicio generan un
problema de sobre explotación de los recursos naturales. El presente trabajo estudia la
posibilidad de viabilizar el empleo de los residuos sólidos de la Empresa Minera Huanuni
como una alternativa más sustentable al agregado fino convencional, reemplazándolo
total o parcialmente en la elaboración de hormigones estructurales y no estructurales para
su uso en la provincia Pantaleón Dalence del departamento de Oruro-Bolivia. Para este
fin se dosifico un hormigón simple, y se sustituyó el agregado fino convencional en
concentraciones que variaban 10% a la anterior, para este estudio se elaboraron
hormigones simples, sin la inclusión de ningún tipo de aditivo que modifique el
comportamiento de las mezclas realizadas.

Abstract
The growing urban region and the need of new engineering, maintenance and
infrastructure replacement work that have served their service time generate an over-
exploitation of natural resources. This paper studies the possibility of making viable the
use of solid waste from Huanuni Mining Company as a more sustainable alternative to
the conventional fine aggregate replacing it totally or partially in the making of structural
a non-structural concrete for its use in Pantaleon Dalence province from the state of
Oruro-Bolivia. To this purpose a simple concrete was dosed, and the conventional fine
aggregate was substituted in concentrations that varied 10% to the previous one. For this
study simple concrete were made, without the inclusion of any type of additive that
modifies the behavior of the mixtures made.
