Curriculum
In numerous courses and academic
programs related to sustainability,
students can study
everything from
alternative energy
and climate
science, marine
and freshwater
sciences, sustainable agriculture, and
public health, to sustainable engineering,
climate policy, environmental education,
natural resources and more.
Interdisciplinary opportunities - such as
the Natural Resources and Earth Systems
Sciences Ph.D. Program - abound.
Research
UNH students work with faculty to
conduct research related to sustainability
in disciplines across
campus, from the
economic benefits of
local agriculture to
international climate
policy and more.
Graduate students then
present every year at
UNH’s annual Graduate Research
Conference in addition to conferences
across the country and around the
world. It’s more than just building your
resume; it’s research changing the
world.
