1. I am directed to say that the matter regarding proviston of residential

telephones to Lt Cols posted in the Army: has' been considered and it has been
decided with the approval of the competent authority that Lt Cols in the Army
may be provided residential telephone. The facility of residential telephone may
be given from Army Network wherever, it is poss'ible, ',
