The Moon: the Moon is the luminary of the night and its nature is cold and moist, phlegmatic, having
accidental heat in it because its light is from the Sun. It is light in weight, and it is good in every
matter. It desires joy, beauty, and to be praised. It indicates the beginning of all activities, and kings,
nobles, good fortune in one’s livelihood, taking possession of the things one wants, virtue in religion,
the heavenly sciences, signs, sorcerers, much thought in things, premonition, geometry, the science of
earth and water and their measurement, calculation, bookkeeping, and weakness of intellect. | It
indicates noble women, marriage, every pregnant woman, upbringing and its conditions, mothers,
maternal aunts, wet nurses, and older sisters; delegates, messengers,rumours, and fugitives, lying and
slander; a king with kings, a slave with slaves, he has the same nature as the person he is with; much
forgetfulness, cowardly, of sound heart, open with people, honoured by them, but cast out from them;
he does not keep his secret. It indicates many sicknesses, concern for healing bodies and shaving hair;
abundance of food, but little love-making.

La Luna: la Luna es la luminaria de la noche y su naturaleza es fría y húmeda, flemática, teniendo calor
accidental en ella porque su luz proviene del Sol. Es ligera de peso y es buena en todos los asuntos. Desea
la alegría, la belleza y ser alabado. Indica el comienzo de todas las actividades, y los reyes, los nobles, la
buena fortuna en el sustento, la toma de posesión de las cosas que uno quiere, la virtud en la religión, las
ciencias celestiales, las señales, los hechiceros, mucho pensamiento en las cosas, la premonición, la
geometría, la ciencia de la tierra y el agua y su medición, el cálculo, la contabilidad y la debilidad del
intelecto. | Indica las mujeres nobles, el matrimonio, toda mujer embarazada, la crianza y sus
condiciones, las madres, las tías maternas, las nodrizas y las hermanas mayores; los delegados, los
mensajeros, los rumores y los fugitivos, la mentira y la calumnia; un rey con los reyes, un esclavo con los
esclavos, tiene la misma naturaleza que la persona con la que está; mucho olvido, cobarde, de corazón
sano, abierto con la gente, honrado por ella, pero expulsado de ella; no guarda su secreto. Indica muchas
enfermedades, preocupación por curar el cuerpo y afeitar el pelo; abundancia de comida, pero poco
hacer el amor.
