La Tomatina de Buño is one of the funniest festivals in Spain, it is celebrated every year on the
last Wednesday of August during the Santo Patron festivities.

Buñol es un pueblo que queda cerca de Valencia tiene menos de 10.000 habitantes pero la
fiesta es tan famosa que participan hasta 50.000 personas de todas partes del mundo

Buñol is a town that is close to Valencia, it has less than 10,000 inhabitants but the festival is so
famous that up to 50,000 people from all over the world participate.

PARTE 3

La tomatina empieza a las 10 de la mañana con el “Palo de jabón” , es un palo cubierto de

grasa que tiene un jabón en la cima, las personas intentan subir y cuando el jamón cae
¡empieza el combate! (Riascos)

The tomatina starts at 10 in the morning with the "Soap stick", it is a stick covered in grease
that has soap on top, people try to climb and when the ham falls, the fight begins!

PARTE 4

Los jóvenes de Buñol entran a la plaza con camiones llenos de tomates y empiezan a lanzarlos
a la gente creando la batalla de comida más grande en todo el mundo (Tori)

The young people of Buñol enter the square with trucks full of tomatoes and start throwing
them at the people creating the biggest food battle in the world

PARTE 5

Después de 1 hora, a las 11 un disparo declara el fin de la fiesta, los bomberos lavan las callen
del pueblo y a todas las personas que quieran (Isabela)

After 1 hour, at 11 a shot declares the end of the party, the firefighters wash the streets of the
town and all the people they want
