COOPERATION STRATEGY: ‘Towards a New Transformation of the

Colombian Rural Sector’

The Ministry of Agriculture highlights that the International Cooperation Strategy is

of vital importance, because it tends towards the sum and focus of efforts that will
allow us to leverage actions for the benefit of our rural producers, in strategic
dimensions that enable their sustainable productive insertion.

For her part, the director of APC Colombia, Angela Ospina de Nichols, stated that
"thanks to the creation of sectoral action plans, an extended and harmonized
panorama of the demand of the agriculture sector can be offered. In this way,
certainty can be achieved. that this document is aligned with the country's priorities
and with the Development Plan "Pact for Colombia, Pact for Equity".

El Ministerio de Agricultura destaca que la Estrategia de Cooperación Internacional

es de vital importancia, porque tiende por la suma y focalización de esfuerzos que
nos permitirán apalancar acciones en beneficio de nuestros productores rurales,
en dimensiones estratégicas que habiliten su inserción productiva sostenible.

Por su parte la directora de la APC Colombia, Ángela Ospina de Nichols,

manifestó que "gracias a la creación de planes de acción sectoriales se puede
ofrecer un panorama extendido y armonizado de la demanda del sector
agricultura. De esta manera se puede tener una certeza que este documento tiene
una alineación con las prioridades del país y con el Plan de Desarrollo "Pacto por
Colombia, Pacto por la Equidad".
