The story of the King of the jungle. The fascinating story of the Lion King.
In the virgin jungle, where wild animals live, fight and survive maintaining the balance and
natural environment imposed by the law of the strongest, the lion Mufasa solemnly reigns
with his wife Saraby. Both have brought Simba, a beautiful little lion, into the world.
Simba is successor to the throne, something that his uncle Scar, Mufasa's younger
brother, analyzes and does not like, resentful for not being able to reign and for which he
prepares a plan to abuse the throne.
With the participation of three evil and stupid hyenas, Scar devises a trick in which her
brother and king Mufasa dies in a stampede and causes Simba to believe that it was his
fault, since his father died to rescue him from the stampede. and decide to abandon the
jungle, after the three hyenas participated in killing him too.
There he meets a meerkat named Timon and a warthog named Pumbaa, who adopted
him and, in addition to making friends, teach him the philosophy of living without worries:
the Hakuna Matata. Meanwhile, his uncle Scar, involved in the funeral of Mufasa and his
son Simba, takes the environmental throne and announces the birth of a new era.
Years later, an adult Simba rescues Pumbaa and survives from being eaten by a lioness.
This turns out to be her old childhood friend Nala, who upon recognizing him asks her to
return to regain the throne.
The kingdom has become a real nonsense, poorly governed and without food or water.
Simba, who at first does not want to abandon his current lifestyle, finally accepts after
starting a conversation with a mandrill named Rafiki, who tells him about his father.
At that moment, the soul of his father appears in heaven, communicating that he must
remember who he is and where he comes from. After Mufasa's soul disappears, Simba,
along with Rafiki, discusses what he must do and thus immediately leaves for his home to
claim the throne.
Simba, who at first everyone confuses with his father, is witness to the decline and abuse
of his kingdom and enraged decides to act. It is at this moment that Simba forces Scar to
reveal the secret he kept all those years: to be the one involved in Mufasa's death. Even
though Simba alleges that it had been an accident, Scar takes advantage, and together
with his hyenas, takes him to the edge of a precipice.
At that moment, thunder falls on the dry grassland and starts a fire. Simba slips and tries
to hold on, her front legs on the edge. Scar then takes him by his paws and confesses at
that moment, that he was the true murderer of his father. Simba full of rage jumps on Scar
and forces him to confess publicly.
After a final battle, in which Scar ends up being assassinated by the hyenas, who were
also his allies, the cycle of life closes with the rise and benefit to the throne of Simba, with
the final closing of an epilogue, in the that Simba and Nala get married and Rafiki
introduces their new and future successor, Kiara.
