Exclusive Positive Blade Displacement


Conventional air starters rely on differential air pressure to move
the rotor blades out into the air stream. Any dirt or frost on the
blades can cause them to stick in the rotor, preventing the starter
from turning. Every StartMaster starter features a patented eccen-
tric cam built into both motor end plates that forces the rotor
blades into their proper position to ensure reliable starting.
